Chapter 15
Raman barged inside Ashok's office and directly went to the receptionist and asked aloud : Where is he?
Receptionist : Who sir?
Raman : Your boss. Ashok Khanna!!
Receptionist : Oh!! Sir is in meeting room, you please wait...
But before she could complete, Raman walked towards the meeting room, the receptionist followed him asking : Sir please!! Don't go.
But Raman didn't give her any attention, he directly barged in the meeting room, Ashok was sitting on his chair and was discussing something with his clients, Raman furiously held him by his collar and made him stand up.
Ashok shouted : What the hell are you doing?
He then looked at the receptionist who said : Sorry sir. I tried to stop him.
Meanwhile Raman glared at him angrily when Ashok said : Raman behave. It's my office.
Raman : Just hell with your office. You know it says, you can't teach old dog new tricks and today I have seen it.
As Raman was still held his collar, so, Ashok ask the client to leave, as they left, he shrugged off Raman's hand with a jerk.
Ashok : I don't get you.
Raman : Oh!! Stop your drama Ashok. I know it was you who tried to harm me yesterday!!
Ashok laughed a little saying : Have you gone mad Raman? Yes that's true that I don't like you. But I won't stoop so low. And if I really want to kill you then I would have done it before.
Raman : Do you think me fool?? I know it was you. Listen Ashok!! Your rivalry is with you, so last time I am warning you stay away from my family. Otherwise it won't be good for you.
Saying this Raman walked out from his cabin and thought : If Ashok wasn't the person that who it could be??
Just then his phone rang, he checked the phone call, it was from Ishita!! He angrily attend the call : What the hell Ishita?? 5 missed call?? Don't you have enough patience. I wasn't receiving your call that mean I was busy na??
Ishita fumed : I am sorry.
Raman : Now will you tell me why you have called?
Ishita stomped her feet angrily saying : Nothing!!
She disconnect the call, Raman sighed and took leave from Ashok's office.
Ishita walked down where she met with Toshiji.
Toshiji : Ishita puttar!! Is everything done?
Ishita : Mummyji.. I have checked all the arrangement. Everything is done! You just relax!!
Toshiji caressed her hair lovingly saying : Thank you puttar. You were working from morning. Now go and get ready. And listen I have brought a saree for you and kept it in your room. Wear this!!
Ishita smiled and replied : Sure!!
"Vanakkam Santoshi." Ishita and Toshi both turned at the direction.
Ishita's face become delighted, she uttered : Amma.. Appa!!
She ran to them and hugged them. Toshi came and greeted.
Mrs. Iyer : Ishu!! How are you kanna?
Ishita : I am fine Amma. But you didn't tell me before that you are coming!!
Ishita looked at Toshi who said : I invited them and asked them to not tell you. Actually they couldn't able to attend the party on that day!! So, I thought to give you a surprise today!!
Ishita smiled brightly and said : Thank you mummyji.
They had a brief talk when suddenly Mrs. Iyer asked : Ishu where is Raman? He haven't showing anywhere.
Ishita looked at Toshiji and recalled his behavior, then she said : Umm!! Amma!! Raman.. Yeah I called him when he said he was busy, maybe he was in some meetings!! He will come soon.
Mrs. Iyer looked at her confused but Ishita smiled to assured her that everything is okay!! Toshiji looked at Ishita and said : Ishita go puttar. Get ready fast.
Ishita nodded and took leave from there. She was walking inside the room while remebering about Raman, once she thought to call him and recalling his behavior, she stopped herself.
She thought : Aiyyo murgan!! Raman.. Where are you??
She looked at the time and finally getting impatience, she tried his number but he didn't receive. She said with a frown : This boy will drive me crazy one day!!
With her own thoughts, she went to washroom to change. She wore purple and white mixture net saree. After coming outside first she checked her cell whether he called her or not but unfortunately!! No calls had come. Then she went near the dressing table, she put some matching bangles, ear rings, necklace etc... After putting all ornaments she put sindoor and suddenly remembered last night incident when she saved Raman. Her heart skipped for something, an unknown fear came in her mind. She immediately called him but no response. "Ishita!!!" She heard Toshi's voice from downstairs.
She replied : Yes mummyji.. Coming!!
She prayed : Matarani please keep him safe.
After that, she started walking towards the door and stepped out of her room when she bumped with Raman. With a sudden jerk, she stumbled on her feet and about to fall but he was strong enough to hold her. He immediately held her around her waist to prevent from falling. Ishita also hold his arm tightly in fear. They shared an eye lock for sometime.
"Wow!! She is so beautiful." Raman thought and lost in her eyes. Both were lost in each other when suddenly Ishita blinked and flicked her eye brow and he response the same. Then they both realized they were still standing by holding each other. Then Raman straightened her on her feet "Umm.. Woh.." Before Raman could say anything Ishita burst out : Raman how irresponsible you are!! Where were you from morning? Don't you bother to inform me once? And moreover when I called you in evening!! You didnt receive it. Why Raman?? Where were you busy? Hunn..
Ishita : Ishita I...
But before he could say anything, she said angrily : Stop Raman. Don't give me any lame excuse this time!! You know maa kept this puja for your sake and you.. Now I don't want to listen anything. Go and get ready fast.
She almost ordered him which made Raman furious : I told you I won't take part in this Puja. When he never kept his promise then why should I bend my head down?? So better you go and do all this drama.
He walked inside the room. "Raman.. Raman!! Listen to me.." She called him and going to follow him but again someone called her so she rushed in hurry.
Ishita walked down and attend the guests when Toshiji came to her : Ishita.. Raman?? I saw him climbing up. Where is he??
Ishita : Mummyji actually he is not coming. Still he is sitting with the same thing. I don't know what's the problem!!
Toshiji : He is like this!! He never believe in God, he has never any interest in such things. But Ishita!! This time.. I really want him to take part, I kept this puja especially for him. And your parents are here, if he won't be here then what will they think!!
Ishita : But mummyji he strictly denied to come.
Mrs. Iyer heard her saying, she asked : Who is not coming Ishu? And where is Raman? I saw him coming.
Ishita : Amma!! Woh..
Before Ishita could say anything Toshiji said : He is getting ready Madhvi.. Ishita!! Puttar you go and check him.
As Toshiji said, Ishita thought to try once more!! She nod and headed towards upstairs.
"Raman.." She walked inside while calling him and found him sitting on couch and playing games. She glared at him and then went to the cupboard and took a white Kurt and threw it on couch saying : Get ready fast.
Raman looked at her : Excuse me?
Ishita : I said get ready fast. Everyone is waiting for you..
Raman : And I told you..
Ishita took a deep breathe and said : Fine!! As your wish Mr. Raman Bhalla!! Actually why am I trying to save you!!
Raman looked at her sarcastically : What do you mean?
Ishita : Nothing!! Actually my Amma and Appa has came here and they asked me about you so many times and now if you won't join them then I know my parents they will surely ask you so many questions and bla bla.. And you have to give them clarification which you never prefer to do!! So..
But Raman gave whatever look and stiff on his decision. Not getting other option, she pleaded : Raman!! Please let's go no!!
She turned her face aside and continued : Mummyji is so much worried for you. She is tensed for whatever yesterday happen!! She lost her one son already and she hasn't enough strength now.. She is caring for you and so she kept this puja and if you won't come she will get hurt. So please not for yourself but please let's go for mummyji.
In between her eyes were get wet. She wiped her eyes and turned at his side. There he was standing, he said : If your lectures are over. Can I go for change?
A curve came on her lips and she nodded yes. After a while Raman came out from washroom while closing the buttons of kurta but suddenly one button get torn.
Raman : Shit!! Ishita give me another kurta..
She turned at him with questioning eyes when he showed her the button.
Ishita : No you will wear this only. Give me I will stitch it.
Raman gave her a shocking look : How can I?
Ishita : Okay!! Okay.. Stand here!! I am coming.
She took the thread and needle and came near him and showed him the needle. Raman looked at her shocked : What are you doing??
Ishita : Sshh!!
She came closer to him and started stitching the button. She was too close to him that he could feel the sweet fragments from her hair. Ishita could feel his gaze on her when she looked at him when Raman turned his gaze another side.
While stitching she said : Umm.. Raman.. Thanks!!
Raman : I am doing this because of maa.
Ishita : I know that!!
She smiled back. After finishing the stitching, she said : It's done.
He smiled back at her.
Ishita : Shall we go now?
They left the room.

Raman and Ishita climbed down when everyone praised them, all the time Ishita smiled happily when everyone praising the couple. Soon the priest asked to do the ritual.
Toshiji came forward and said : Pandit ji today Raman and Ishita will do the puja!!
Raman and Ishita came forward and Toshiji instructed and they did the aarti. After completing the aarti they heard a huge clap. Raman, Ishita and everyone turned at the direction.
"Wah!! Mr. Raman Bhalla. Wah!! You are enjoying this bl***y Puja and do you know we are facing a financial loss for you!!"
Raman looked at Mihir confused and everyone were shocked as well as. Mihir said : Raman he is Mr. Chadda's PA Mr. Akhil Sinha!!
Raman shook his head and walked to him saying : Come on Mr. Sinha!! Why are you taking so much stress? Cool down!! And tell me the matter.
Akhil : Mr. Raman, we had already paid the amount but still there isn't any progression of this project!! You haven't start construction!! Why? Marketers are asking...
Raman smirked and said : Hunn?? Let me handle this situation right here!!
Saying this Raman directly called Mr. Chadda, "Mr. Chadda I am RKB. Your PA informed me about the loss."
Mr. Chadda yelled in phone : Raman.. What's wrong with you? Why you haven't start working over the project? Listen Raman. If you aren't interested to work with me then tell me clearly but don't back stab, I really hate it. But if you really work with me then don't be so careless towards my work otherwise I will finish you Raman. Mind it!!
Raman : Done? Now listen to me carefully!! I am not your slave that I will work according to you and if you are sharing your 50% then don't forget I too shared my 50%. By the way!! How will start working in construction site when I don't have the blue print. I asked you several times to mail it.
Mr. Chadda : I already mail it to you!!
Raman : But you didn't inform me!! See, I got more than 100 mails regularly and here I am not sitting idle to check each and every mail. Anyway!! Now if I have the blue print, then workers will start from tomorrow!! And I think now we should meet.
Mr. Chadda : Raman!! I told you I am not in India!! If you want to discuss anything, you can talk with Akhil.
Raman : Who's the owner? You or Mr. Akhil? Well, let it be!!
Saying this Raman was going to cut the call when he heard him saying : Listen!! I heard that you signed other contract. Raman first finish my works then do your another bl***y projects. Got it?
Raman : Mr. Chadda I don't think you should interfere in my personal works!! I am telling you no I will resume your project by tomorrow then be happy with it only.
Raman spoke furiously and cut the call and turned at Akhil : Is that okay Sinha?
Raman sarcastically looked at him.
Akhil : Hmm!! Don't break your words otherwise you don't know what he can do!!
Telling this he left. He turned and found everyone was looking at him, Raman kept the phone call on speaker and so that everyone heard their conversation.
Raman : What?? Leave it and enjoy!!
He said happily to everyone but Ishita was give question look but Raman ignored and looks on...
