Chapter 7
Nandini POV
Aiyappa, yeh manik itna badal kyun gaya? How can he insult me? Maine aisa kya pucha? I just asked about Alya! Pehele toh kitna acche se baat krta tha, always smiling. Ab kya? Mukti Cabir se puchu? Nai nandu, woh dono ,ya sochege. Oh god, nai ek bar puch hi leti hu.

"Umm Mukti, did u get anything? " asked Nandini.
'' Haa, woh Navya helped us finding the appropriate clothes warna toh yeh Cabir kuch kam ka nhi h. Aur Manik, usey toh chor hi do, har time kam kam aur kam." replied Mukti.
Cabir- "Ha ha thik h, ab agar ladies log apka shopping khatam hogaya den cn we move ahead? Mukti bhuliyo mat, humain O2 office jana h!!"
Mukti- "Ha yaad h. Ok so Nandini Navya we gotta go. Lets go and pay first and then will drop u back to office."
In Car,
Cabir was in the driving seat, Mukti was going to seat beside Cabir, but Nandini stopped her. She told Mukti that she wanted to talk to her. So Navya had to sit beside Cabir. Aur iss baat par bhagwan hi jane Cabira k maan mein kitne saare laddu phoote hoge.
Mukti- Nandini, tumhe kuch baat krni thi na. Kya hua batao?
Nandini- Umm, Mukti, i don't knw how to ask, but woh Manik. Pata nahi mujhe uska behaviour odd laga. I mean college main toh aisa nahi tha. I know we guys dint gell along but still...
So yes, Nandini Manik were from the same college. Mukti Navya and Nandini were in the same batch. Manik and Cabir was 2 years senior to them. Being Cabir's sister and Manik's lil sis too, Navya and Nandini sometimes bumped into Manbir. Though Navni had a quite good relation with Cabir, Nandini and Manik never had a nice contact with each other.
Mukti- Kyun kya hua Nandini? Manik ne kuch bola? Kuch kiya?
Nandini- Nahi, woh bas I thought of talking to him. Although he was not much interested in the conversation, yet he was talking. Lekin when i asked about Alya's whereabouts woh gussa ho gaya.
Mukti- Ab woh...Nandini actually...
Cabir who was listening to their conversation interfered and spoke in a serious tone, ''Manik and Alya broke up. They broke up long back due to some issues. Its better that we don't talked about Alya"
Neither Mukti nor Cabir ever liked Alya. Cabir had always this feeling that Nandini has some feeling for Manik but he knew Nandini will never express.
Understanding the situation Nandini hummed and the rest of the journey was silent. The journey was silent but the cupid Cabira was lost in his thoughts. Nandini's curiosity and concern regarding Manik irked him alot. He thought that Nandini still has feelings for Manik which is true and so he thought of bringing them close.
After dropping Navni, Mukbir headed towards O2 office where Manik was waiting for them. The album was really very important. Working with O2 is a dream come true so the trio was quite nervous as well as excited. Finally all went good and with happy cheerful smile they signed their contract. The O2 manager informed them about the shoot they were going to have next day. It was a really big thing for Triple X.
Mukti- Finally, an album with O2. Yaar this calls for an party. Chal lets go to the pub. Beer sheer piyege, dance karege. Lets celebrate.
Cabir thought about Mukti's idea but had some other plans so he told to drop the plan of partying that day and instead party after the shoot as they had lots to prepare for the shoot and they were tired too. Agreeing to what Cabir said, the trio decided to go back to their respective house and take rest.
Cabir- thoughy to himself "Chal cabira, uv gotta a job to do. Mujhe humesha se laga ki Nandini has some strong feeling for Manik since college days, but sayad Alya k liye usne kabhi kisiko nahi bola. Aur woh chipkali Alya kabhi humare Manik ko akela chorti hi nahi thi jo un dono k beech koi baat ho. Anyways afat hati atlast. Now time to do some actions. Ab mujhe hi kuch krna hoga to turn Manik Nandini to MaNan. Kya Nandini hi humare purane Manik ko iss andhere se bahar laye."

Where our hero was busy in his life, Nandini was busy in his thoughts. After cabir dropped them in their office, Nandini along with Navya
went in the designing room. She thought of completing some pending works and she also had to work on the dress for Triple X's album. However she tried to concentrate on her work, she couldn't stop herself from wondering about Manik's behaviour. She really couldn't take it that the gentleman Manik Malhotra actually behaved so rudely to a woman.
Seeing Nandini all lost, Navya tapped her shoulders bringing her back to reality.
Navya- Kya hua tujhe? Kaha kho gayi?
Nandini- Kuch nahi Navya woh bas...
Navya- Manik ka behaviour na? Pata hain. Nandini chor. Par usne aisa kya bola?
Nandini- Trust me Navya mujhe khud samajh nahi aya. Main bas puchi ki how's he and how's Alya toh woh... She stopped while the the happenings of theday, Manik's blood shot red eyes and his tight grip crossed her mind.
Navya- Kya hua ruk kyun gayi...bolo
Nandini- Kuch nai, mujhe jab khud samajh ajayega tab main tujhe bol dungi.
Navya- Accha thik hain, Woh sab sochkr apna dimag mat khao. Chalo waise bhi ghar jane ka time ho gaya h. Im so tired aur upar se m starving too. Chalo.
In NavNi appartment,
After completing their work in fashion house, NavNi, headed towards their apartment. Navya was busy finding the keys in her bag and Nandini was scolding her for being careless. While talking to Navya her eyes fell on the doorstep where lied again a pink note and this time a red rose. Nandini picked up the note and read aloud.
Note-''HEY BABY DOLL!! I MISSED YOU SO MUCH. ENOUGH OF THIS HIDE AND SEEK GAME. TIME TO SEE EACH OTHER. I JUST CAN'T WAIT TO HAVE A LOOK OF YOU AND GIVE YOU A TIGHT JADU KI JHAPPI.

After reading this Nandini was really worried. She couldn't take this lightly anymore. Navya was pissed too.
Nandini- Navya yeh bohat zyada ho jaraha h..pata nahi kon h yeh. Mujhe bohat daar lag raha h. I think humain kisi ko batana chahiye.
Agreeing to what Nandini said, NavNi turned to go only to get stopped on seeing someone standing in front of them. As soon as both of them looked towards the person their eyes was wide open due to surprise.
NavNi was surprised to see the person the person standing in front of them. Nandini, couldn't control her excitement and hold herself. She ran upto that person, literally jumped on him, and shouted in joy "Abhiii''
Abhimanyu- "Areee chilla mat, mera kan phat jayega. Phir main sun nahi paunga aur hearing aid lena parege. Paroshi k bacche phir mujhe Dadaji Dadaji bulaiyenge.
Nandini broke the hug and playfully hit his sholders.
Abhimanyu- Kya yaar itne dino k baad mile aur tera jangli billi mode on. Yaar. Saying this he rubbed his arm faking pain.
Navya came towards Abhimanyu and side hugging him.
Navya- Chup karbe nautanki. Kitna dramebaaz hain yeh ladka Nandu.
Abhimanyu - Look whose talking, Ms.Navya Naveli aka black and white Madhubala.
Hearing this Navya pouted showing fake anger.
Nandini- Accha tum dono ka hogaya toh andar chale? Ya phir abhi aj bahar khare reheke baat karne ka maan h?
"Aree main toh andar jane k liye taras raha tha, lekin mujhe laga sayad mujhe bahar sehi tum dono bhaaga doge." ,said Abhimanyu entering their apartment.
Nandini- Yeah whatever. Get urself comfortable, I'll bring water for you.
Abhimanyu - Yaar it feels so good be back to your own country, to your loved ones. I missed you guys so much.
Navya- Lekin don't worry humne tumhe miss nahi kiya. Saying this the trio burst into laughter.
Nandini- Waise how was ur assignment?
Abhimanyu nodded a yes. Nandini told him to freshen up till the time she arranges the dinner table.
After getting freshen up, three of them settle for breakfast. .
Abhimanyu - Yaar jaldi de, I'm starving. I so missed this home made food.
NavNi smiled on hearing Abhimanyu's childish behaviour. They started having their dinner while talking about the things happened in each others absence.
Nandini- Jante ho Abhi, me and Navya got assigned as designers for a renowned band's members. And guess who are they?
Abhimanyu raised his eyebrow asking who. Nandini said, ''Triple X. Cabir, Mukti and..." she stopped from taking Manik's name as again the morning incidents flashed in front of her. Abhimany not understanding asked Nandini, "Kya hua? And? Aur kon? Manik?
Navya, being able to understand the situation said, "Haan..haan Manik, Manik...unka lead singer hain..itne saalo k baad sb se milkar bohat khusi huyi. College days yaad agayi. Kaise main, Nandini aur Mukti chill karte thain, phir canteen main hangout. Hain na Nandini. " Nandini in response nodded her head in yes. On the other hand Abhimanyu had an ear to ear smile crept on his face. Seeing this, not wanting to loose her chance to tease him, Navya said, "Waise Abhi, Mukti puch rahi thi tumhare barein mein. Kahe rahi thi ki kya hum tumare sath contact main hain. Uh don't worry humne kehediya ki tum apne project mein busy ho. Humrare sath touch main aur lot ane pr unsb se zaroor miloge."
Seeing the facial expressions and Abhimanyu's smile, she continued "Mujhe lagta hain ki woh tumhe kafi miss karti h. Arey mujhe toh yeh bhi laga ki hum dono se milne ka excitement se zyada tumse milpane ka khusi zyada thi."
"Navya, ab choro bhi. Kitna tang karoge bechare ko. Chalo ab jaldi se haat dholo, I'll get the deserts" said Nandini.
After completing their dinner, the trio sat on the couch of the living room with bowl of ice cream, talking about anything and everything. Suddenly, breaking their conversation, Nandini's phone started ringing. It was Mukti's call. She excused herself and answered the call.
Nandini- Hi
Mukti- Hey. Did I disturb you?
Nandini- Nahi nahi y will you disturb. Bolo na kya hua?
Mukti- Umm woh...kya kar rahi ho..!?
Nandini- wWoh kuch nahi, Abhi aya hain..toh bas.
Mukti out of excitement almost screamed, "What Abhimanyu aya hain?"
Seeing Nandini busy with the phone call, Abhimanyu got annoyed and shouted at Nandini. "Kon hain Nandu? Kiska phone hain. Jaldi ana."
Nandinu- Haa Mukti..Abhi is here. Aj hi aya hain. Kyun?
Mukti- Nahi kuch nahi. Woh bas I called u to invite u guys for a small party tomorrow. Actually we've signed a new album so thought of celebrating. So please, we want u guys to join us too. Please mana mat karna.
Nandini- Accha thik hain, I'll tell Navya she'll be there.
Mukti- Kya Nandini, I'm inviting all three of u. U Navya and Abhimanyu. Please tum bhi ana. Dekho, aj jo hua uske liye party main na aneke barein main sochna bhi mat. C'mn please Nandu.
Nandini - Accha baba, thik h. Hum teeno kal ajayenge. Now bye good night.
With this they hung the call.
Nandini walked towards Navya and Abhimanyu and joined them.
''Kiska phone tha?'',asked Navya. Nandini said "Mukti ka. Tomorrow she wants the three of us to go at their place for a small party"
"Wow, sounds good" said Abhimanyu. Nandini said, "Haa. Ab chalo sojate hain. Its late n you need to take rest so good night."
After wishing good nights to each othe, they retired to their beds.
