I watched it too & it did not disappoint a bit 😃. The wait was worth it 😉.
Trust Mike to find a way to turn things around, Harvey saying that he has a secret weapon called Mike Ross and not to mention Donna back to working with Harvey, it was Suits all the way. Everybody was in character, even Louis in his flip flop mode.
Jessica did not go mudding with Louis as thought but went to talk to him 😛. Oh well, Louis can try and hope 😆.

Ikr?

Seasons 3 and 4 were the weakest imo but S5 picked up and this episode was REALLY good. Amazing pace and tension without being depressing/melodramatic.

I loved the Robert Zane/Mike scenes. SO intense! And Harvey defending Mike to Zane and getting Mike to become optimistic 😳. Mike being a badass with Gibbs -- in that tape scene and in the court. Louis-Donna scene was soo cute. He can be so adorable at times. And then the Jessica/Louis scene as well. Yes, not mudding as we thought. 😆 And plus points for the LoTR reference. 😆

Darvey scenes were <3. The cactus. 😆 And Harvey concerned about how Louis would take it. 😳

Weapon named Mike Ross and then the Mike/Jack scene. 😃

This is going to be a great ride.

Also, the promo for the next episode is KIND of scary. Donna is in that interrogation room and Harvey says - "What the hell were you thinking?" :(

Watched it. Loved it. This story arc is going to give us loads of Mike-Harvey scenes😳

The bond that these 2 share is the crux of Suits. With the Hardman & Louis & Woodall crisis, it has been soo long since the show concentrated on only Harvey and Mike exclusively. This plot line gives ample chance for that.

And Donna is back!! Harvey's smile when Donna says she is coming back😳 Awww, how cute was that. And he was also concerned of how Louis took it👏

Louis & Jessica were good. PSL is in deep trouble. Logically in the real world, there should be a consequence from the partners regarding Mike's arrest.

Mike may not have the degree, but he is the best god damn lawyer out there! His little trick with getting it on record that he was not given his constitutional rights was pure genius👏 And only he could come up with that brilliant idea to get Harvey back to the firm. There is no way Solofff will take any panga now. Secret weapon indeed😳

Edited to add: Anita is a big joke if she thinks she can make Mike turn on Harvey, or Harvey turn on Jessica. Never happening :)

From Mike looking straight into Robert Zane's eyes and saying "I won't do it" (point finger at Harvey) or Rachel's "I can't do that" (give up on Mike) to her father and Harvey's "...break through the door" to get to Mike, the episode was a great comeback after the hiatus. From Mike's argument / discussion with Rachel about the deal offered to their hug at the end after the Soloff win, faith sustained. From seeing Donna brought back into Harvey's path to Scottie walking away from him, one can't help but be delighted to see Donna twice in his apartment.

Loved Donna reassuring Rachel (& the viewers) that Harvey makes things right. Her laying herself on the line, "I don't care" or "if they are going to come for me, they are going to come for me" was Donna all the way. She is selflessly with them. Her first concern when Louis asked her to sit down was to ask if Harvey was in trouble. Way to go Donna.
Louis changed his mind for the umpteenth time! Need Mike to tell me how many times it is by now coz he is "always good at math" 😆
Mike does what he does best by placing the Federal Marshall correctly, being one up on Anita Gibbs with violating his rights to an attorney and resolving the issue of Forstman not finding out Harvey at work. I look forward to him pulling out his aces going forward. Way to go Mike.

Anita Gibbs won't fight clean and has laid herself bare very early. She is going all out from the word go. Though this wasn't her episode, she is bound to come trumps up at times against Harvey & Mike. Even though she is still in the nascent stage of her discovery process but has figured out the Robert Zane - Mike equation and is pressing the RZ pressure point atm. Will the hunter become the hunted? Look forward to finding that out as well.

loved the episode..
and it was so good to see Harvey and Mike together..I know it was important to show them working with others so far, but the two of them working together is just so good

they have dug themselves into a hole (well that happened the moment Harvey hired Mike) and as of now even though they think they have things somewhat in balance, there are too many variables..threatening Soloff to not reveal that Harvey is back, trying to be a step ahead of Gibbs, Zane Sr threatening Jessica..its seems like it is going to give soon..

i am kinda sad that they will probably resolve this in only 6 episodes..by season end
i wouldnt mind it being carried over to next season ..its a huge thing after all

loved the tiny Donna-harvey scene..these two need their own screen time and resolution..in due time..once the crisis passes off

Louis was endearing when he let Donna go..and the LoTR reference with jessica at the end 😃

Rachael is not as annoying as she used to be till last season..that in itself is a big feat for me 😆
now if only she would tone down her overreaction and hyperventilaion to everything..ah well

waiting for next episode

PS: for once Jessica's dress with that bow was weird

7 Cool Things We Learned From Gabriel Macht This Week
POSTED ON 1/28/16

SUITS star Gabriel Macht sat down with Yahoo! TV's Mandi Bierly to have a candid discussion about All Things Harvey Specter at the SoHo Apple Store Wednesday night. While Macht was very careful about revealing spoilery details for the back half of SUITS season five, he did share a number of insights about what's coming and what he'd like to see in future seasons. Here are some of the coolest things Macht shared during the Q&A.

There's A Mock Trial Coming

"This one is good. Harvey believes that Harvey should be representing Mike in this case. Mike believes that he should be representing himself. We have a big fight about that... and so we decide to take it to a mock trial and say, Alright, you think you can do it?' So they go against each other. What comes out of it are some really not-so-nice, dirty maneuvers and it reveals some things to the whole firm and it gets pretty sticky."

Macht Has a Flashback Idea for Harvey

"I want to see what happened to Harvey just before he hired Mike... why did he offer him that gig? I know he sees his younger self in him -- he sees that Mike is one of the brightest guys he's ever met -- but I think it would be really interesting to see what went off the rails for Harvey that he made that decision."

@bold - This definitely sounds interesting. As much as I hate it when Mike/Harvey fight, mock trials in PSL always end up revealing a LOT about their characters. Right from the first season when Mike chose his friendship with Rachel over winning the mock trial and then received flak for it from EVERYONE (Jessica, Harvey), to Harvey/Donna/Louis/Jessica in Season 2. Donna's feelings, Harvey's "caring makes you look weak and people will walk all over you", Louis's frustration at not being recognized by Harvey, Hardman looking over everything... It's a great way to bring out more info about the characters in the show. Even the cat trial (Louis vs Nigel), while funny, had this Harold/Louis thing and showed how Louis DOES care about his associates.

I wonder what this trial will do. Pretty sure most partners will be upset over this, maybe even suggest washing their hands off Harvey and Mike. They'll need to convince the partners and everyone else to stick together AND to take into consideration that they're both good people. But this "not-so-nice, dirty maneuvers" thing is kinda scary. WHAT will be revealed? Mike's drug past?

@blue - This IS actually a great idea. Seeing as this Mike thing will be over this season, I don't what they'll show in the next season. I mean showing Mike following a new career path isn't exactly worth a 16-episode show. But whatever it is, maybe this could be something they show in the next season.

@bold - agree. :)

Also agree about Rachel. She's always been my least favourite among the main six but at least at the beginning she had something more to her character then being Mike's love interest. I liked how she'd tried and failed at the LSATs in spite of being smart and how she still tried to make it on her own and refused her dad's help. But in the last couple of seasons it's like all she does is whine and cry around Mike. At least in this episode it was understandable. But I hope they've given her some more stuff to do in these episodes. She IS supposed to be smart after all, a lawyer-in-the-making. She's got Robert Zane as a father. She's got to be of more help than just crying around. :/

The blue bits were my favrt parts of the episode. I love the loyalty that Mike & Harvey for each other. I want to see Harvey fight really hard to save Mike.

I saw this on twitter - "photographic memory FTW" 😆 being smart just comes naturally to him

I have never liked Rachel. When Katrina was in the show, I really rooted for her and Mike to get together.

But I agree that yes, it would be good to see the lawyer side of Rachel. Will be a good change from her whining character.
