I love children movie's... I ll check this out :-)

My favourites

Stanley ka dabba - that movie is brilliant on many levels, the maturity by the kids... Sheer brilliance, most underrated movie IMO

Chillar party & hawaa hawaai are light hearted but still great especially the later.

Tzp IMO was OTT n overrated.

Also ur username reminds me of a movie Ponyo... Another cute movie I loved... Actually, almost love all the movies of the same director, Hayao Miyazaki

And then there is Heidi, girl of the alps... Ah I loved that series / movie.

Heidi- girl of the alps used to be my favorite cartoon as a kid. I can never forget that series and the impact it had on my childhood 😳

I am also a big fan of Ghibli/Miyazaki's work... I recently watched Grave of the fireflies from the studios and it was heartbreakingly sad

I gotta know about Heidi the girl of the alps during college and instantly fell in love with the show. I recently found it on YouTube n watched the entire thing agai. 😊

Most of Hayao Miyazaki movies are practical n don't have a happy ending... Grave of fireflies is heartbreaking indeed! especially that part where he manages to get food and runs to prepare it... But den she's gone!

The Blue Umbrella for sure, you could really see the greed in Pankaj Kapoor's eyes and the girl too, she didn't seem like a novice to me at the time.
I love the end, only thing is the dark lighting characteristic of a Vishal Bharadwaj movie, which can be jarring.

Oh, Ponyo is a lovely, lovely movie. I was shown Grave of the fireflies in class, didn't know it was from the same director.. but indeed it was a heartbreaking movie. Need to watch more from the director. Never heard of Heidi, girl of the alps.. will try watching it too. Thanks :)
