Sunny is toying with the idea of making Prithviraj Chauhan yet again.

The latest is that after the success of Apne, Sunny is all set to revive his pet historical project.

Chandraprakash Dwivedi will be co-producing the film with Sunny. The director has not been finalised as yet,€ says a source close to the actor.

Both Rajkumar Santoshi and Sunny Deol had earlier announced a film based on Prithviraj Chauhan.

However, after the initial hype, things had settled down, with both Sunny and Santoshi moving on to other projects.

Even Chandraprakash Dwivedi, who was to direct Sunny€™s film on the historical figure, moved on to other assignments. €œRight now Sunny is concentrating on the film to be directed by Neeraj Pathak (writer of Apne).

This one will have Sunny, Konkona Sen and Irrfan Khan, and will be a thriller. In fact, even now Sunny and Neeraj are working out the nitty-gritties of this one.€ When we spoke to Neeraj Pathak, he only said, €œWe are in the process of finalising things, and I will be able to make a statement on the film soon.€ Asked whether the three Deols planned to come together again, our source revealed,

Yes, after their success with Apne, it€™s but natural for them to think on those lines. Their next film together will be a comedy, but the director has not yet been finalised.

Considering that Apne director Anil Sharma is curr ently swearing by comedy films and is claiming that he will be working on a comedy film next, any bets whether they€™re going to team up again?
