This is totally wrong. I have read RCM, particularly the Baal Kand, many times and there is no account of Kaikeyi opposing Ram-Sita marriage. In fact, I have read quite a few versions and in none of them is Kaikeyi this evil or negative.
In fact in RCM, Kaikeyi is extremely affectionate towards Ram-Sita and loves Sita immensely.
I staunchly believe this saas-bahu drama with Kaikeyi is an SP invention. Zee Tv too tried it with their Ramayan in 2012, and when people criticized them for it, they quickly changed their Kaikeyi in literally one episode.
If there is saas-bahu drama between Kaikeyi-Sita in any version, I am curious which version the CVs will site. Personally, I feel it's something that could be left out. We see enough saas-bahu drama in other shows, let's not have it in Ramayan.
