Jamaal: the lesser of two evils?

I am just re-watching yesterday's episode where Lajo was forced to dance in the brothel.

Without a doubt the real travesty is Lajo's and Sundar's separation, but now that she is even in an even worse position, I can't help but think that of the two options, between becoming the star attraction at the brothel😡 or being back with Jamaal, Lajo would be better off with Jamaal. Yes, he bought her at auction, but at least with his obsession he still thinks to give her a legitimate place in his life as his wife. Either way is an affront to her honor, but IMO the thought of being used by so many for profit is beyond sickening by comparison.

And seeing her in-law, sorry I can't remember her name, now so accepting of her new existence is absolutely heartbreaking.

Any thoughts on the subject out there😊
