I feel Roshni is surely faking the ML. You can tell from her expressions how sad she is for making Sid sad. I think this thought came to her post the car accident that SiDu were in. When they crashed their car, the diya went out. She felt something was wrong and begun praying. She realized right then that something was wrong. She knew and felt it was her turn to do something to protect her loved ones, her Sid. She doesn't want him to get hurt again because of her and her family problems. She must be aware of how much Sid does its time for her to do something. She also knows Sid won't just sit and let whatever is happening actually happen. She knows he will do something. So for her to fake ML she will not only be protecting him but make him save her. She knows he won't let them hurt anymore. So she wants him to think they dI'd something to her. If she didn't he might beat Kunal up then back to jail and Roshni won't let that happen. To me it will be both Sid and Roshni will be doing things to protect each other.
