Chapter 13
The entire house was decorated with the coloring curtains, lights and flowers, Mihir was instructing them to work properly when Toshiji walked out from her room and saw the hustle bustle.
Toshiji : Mihir what's going on here?
Mihir looked at her puzzled and asked : Don't you know auntyji?
Toshiji shook her head in no. Mihir continued : Raman asked me arrange a party tonight!!
Toshiji : Party? Why did this sudden Party?
Mihir : I don't know but as far I know him, I am definitely sure he is up to something.
That time, Raman climbed down from the stairs asking : Mihir is everything done?
Toshiji : Raman.. What's the party about?
Raman : Some incomplete works are left to finish yet.
Toshiji looked at him confused and asked : What!!
Raman looked at her and came to her and said : Relax Maa!! Have patience!!" He then looked at Mihir and said : Mihir come with me!!
Saying this he left with him.

Ishita was sitting in the room, her face was pale, she was looking around when her eyes fall on another newspaper which kept on the bed, she took it and a tear rolled down from her eyes. That time Raman called her while walking in : Madrasan!!
As she heard him calling, she wiped her tears, she turned to him saying : Yes!!
Raman saw her and in one glance, he could sense she was crying, he looked at the paper, she was holding, he sighed : Still you aren't come out from that state.
Ishita looked at him and said : How can you be so casual about it Raman? They have ruined your image, it will affect on your business and you aren't giving a damn to them.
Raman came close to her and hold her by shoulder and calmly said : All I care is for you Ishita. I don't give them a damn if they talked about me!! But they are talking about you which I can't tolerate.
Ishita looked at him shocked as he was much bothered about her dignity, she stared at him and asked : Why? Why are so much concerned about me?
Raman : Because!!
He looked in to her eyes, he was lost in those browny eyes but in moment he composed himself when Ishita flicked her eyes, he smirked and said : Because... You are RKB's wife most important, you are daughter-in-law of this house and if anyone talked about daughter-in-law of the house, it will hurt the dignity of this house, which my family can't tolerate.
Ishita : Oh!! That's why?
Raman smiled : Yeah!! What else it could be!! Okay listen!! Today I have arranged a party, you should be there.
She turned saying : No. I won't go.
Raman : Excuse me!! You have no choice Mrs. Ishita Raman Bhalla. Be ready by 7pm.
Saying this he was going to leave but for once, he turned and saw her, which was completely unnoticed by her.
In the evening, Raman was getting ready in his white tuxedo under white shirt, as usual, he was looking damn handsome!! Raman brushed his hair while looking around when he saw Ishita walked in room, still she was not ready. She directly walked to the cupboard and started searching sarees, she checked every saree but nothing touched her eyes. Raman was staring at her for some time and then came to the her and asked : What happen? Why are you messing my room?
Ishita sat on the bed and said : I won't go tonight. I have nothing to wear.
Raman shook his head and sighed : Okay move!!
Saying this he went to his side and take out a wrapped box and handed it to Ishita.
Ishita : What's this?
Saying this she opened the box and found a beautiful white net saree, she looked at him amazed. She asked : What is this? I won't accept it. Why did you bring it?
Raman looked at for some time and then said with attitude : Have you gone mad? How did you even think I will buy it, and that for you.
Ishita : Then?
Raman : Actually!! Actually maa gave me this and asked you to wear it in party.
Ishita shook her head when he continued : Now if your problem is solved then get ready fast.
Saying this he walked away. As he left the room, she started to get ready. She wore the saree with minimal make up, she wore the matching ear rings and finally slipped the heels into her feet.
At downstairs,
The reporters were started their discussion about Raman and Ishita, they talked : Where is RKB? And who's that girl with him?"
The reporters were continuously talking about this when Mihir walked in and saw them discussing : What's going on?
They rushed to them asking : Mihir sir, where is RKB? Can you please tell us about the photos!
Mihir : Please calm down you guys. You will get all your answers soon.
Mihir reassured them and was going to leave when one of the reporter said : But where is RKB?
"Here I am!!"
As they heard him, everyone turned at the direction and saw him climbing down the stairs looked at the stairs.
"Raman sir.. What.." Before the reporters throw their questions on him he said : I have invited you all here. So it's natural that I have something to say or declare!! So just keep patience and enjoy this party.
And he looked at Mihir, he took them aside but still they had their discussions on. Raman went to attend some guests when he saw Ashok walked in, as he entered Raman's face expression changed, he tightened his fist to control his anger, then he calmly walked to him : Welcome Mr. Ashok Khanna!!
Ashok smirked : Wow!! What a warm welcome? Are you fine!!
Raman : Of course!! Please enjoy the party.
Ashok : But Raman... I really don't get it, why did this sudden party? I mean, yesterday only we met but you didn't tell me about this and now suddenly..
But before he could say anything Raman said : RKB don't need any reason to party and by the way I am damn sure, you know it very well that why I have throw the party!!
He came close to him and patted on his shoulder saying : Stop back stubborn. If you are a man then behave like a man!! Don't act like a coward.
Saying this he left from there when Toshiji stopped him saying : Raman puttar what is this? Why you called the media here?? Whats going on in your mind? And Ishita.. Where is she?"
Raman smiled and said : Relax Maa.. Ishita is getting ready. Okay!! Wait.. I will take her here.
Saying this Raman climbed the stairs when he saw Ishita walked and stood at the top of stairs. Raman looked at her toe to bottom. In between her presence grabbed the reporters attention and they again started throwing questions. Ishita looked at Raman sadly when he walked to her and forwarded his hand and said : Don't worry!! Come with me.
As she looked at his calm eyes, she put her hand on him and they came down from stairs hand in hand.
"Sir!! Who is that girl?"
"Is this the same girl who was with you in last night?"
"What is she doing at your place?"
"Is she your business partner?"
The reporters started asking him questions and looked at him to get their answers. Meanwhile Ishita's eyes moistened with the tears when she felt Raman held her hand tightly, she faked a slight smile at him.
Raman looked at the media : All done?? Hmm!! See Ishita!! I told you about their curiosity. Well, I know you have bundles of questions to ask me as you all are always ready to disclose my personal life no!!
"But sir." A reporter was going to say something but Raman stopped him saying : Sshh!! I haven't finish yet. Hmm!! So your first answer is yes she is the same girl who was with me last night. But she is not my business partner nor any random girl. She is Ishita Raman Bhalla - My wife.
As Raman disclosed the truth of their relation, everyone looked at each other's face, some of the reporters started gossiping about this. When Ashok was looking at them shocked.
"Wife?? But when did this happen? I mean you never introduce her with us. And suddenly this declaration?" A reporter asked.
Raman : Ahhh!! That was a long story and I don't think that story could be your breaking news. Am I right?? But yeah!! Tomorrow's first headline can be the business tycoon Raman Kumar Bhalla got married. So just be happy with this news only. And yeah... From next time before typing anything about me, make sure to ask the matter to me first. Get that?
Raman spoke with an attitude and he turned to leave but again stopped as one of the reporter said : But sir why does Ishita mam's face look so pale? I mean is everything going well between you..
Raman looked at Ishita and tightened his grip on her waist and said : Madrasan!! What happen? Smile no!! Otherwise they will think our marriage isn't working and we aren't happy and they will make another headline. Please jaan..
Ishita glared at him who was naughtily smiling at her, she forced a smile on her face. Raman said : Look.. She is smiling. Now I hope it's okay!! Anyways now if you all get your answers then will you give some space to us!!
Raman said sarcastically and they walked away. Mihir, Romi and the others managed the reporters. The men congratulate Raman and Ishita. Raman smiled at Ishita.
Ishita : You are ridiculous Raman!!
Raman : What? Now what I have done?
Ishita : What you were talking!! Jaan and all...
Raman smiled seeing her furious, he said : Of course!! You are my jaan, my life, my wife and my Ishita..
As he used the word 'My' Ishita looked at him shocked, she didn't know but she liked to hear it. She stared at him when Raman snapped his fingers, she shook her head in no!! Raman was continuously teasing her when Ashok arrived there.
Ashok : Congratulations Raman!!
Raman faked a smile and ask Ishita to attend the guests, she left giving a slight smile to Ashok.
Raman smirked : Tch.. Tch.. Plan failed!! I am feeling very sorry for you. I don't think you won't mind as you are habituate with this. Isn't?
Ashok : Listen Raman...
But before Ashok could say, Raman said : You listen to me first. I know you have done all this, but I don't have any proof against you, that's why I won't take any step against you.
Ashok warned him giving a deadly glare : I will see you Raman!!
Raman laughed a little : Every time whenever you tried to defame me, you had fall on your nose. Maybe better luck next time.
He winked and left from there, leaving furious Ashok behind.
Raman came to Ishita who was standing with Mr. and Mrs. Bhalla. He came and asked : What's going on here?
Mr. Bhalla : Raman puttar!! I am proud of you. Today you did right. Today you gave her that respect which she deserve.
Raman smiled and looked at Ishita, he bend to her ear and whispered : Hmm!! So, tomorrow billions of girl's heart will break for you.
Ishita glared at him when Toshiji interrupted : Oye!! Stop teasing her." Then she turned at Ishita and said : Ishita puttar!! Today you are looking so beautiful.
Ishita smiled and said : Thank you mummyji for giving this saree.
As Ishita said, Raman's face changed, he quickly excused from there. Toshiji looked at her confused and said : No. Puttar!! I didn't.
Ishita : But mummyji Raman...
Toshiji smiled and said : If I wanted to give you anything, then why should I ask Raman? I will give it myself. Hmm!! Raman gave this saree to you.
Ishita looked at Raman shocked who was talking with the guests. Toshiji : See puttar.. He is taking this relation ahead, now I think you should step ahead.
Ishita slightly smiled. The party was swing in a full mood. Raman was attending the guests whereas Ishita was with Toshiji. Some couples were dancing when suddenly Mihir dragged Raman from somewhere and made him stand next to Ishita.
Mihir : Now perfect!! Why are you two standing away?
Raman ignored and was going to leave when Mihir said : Raman!! Ask bhabhi for a dance.
Raman was going to say something when Mihir said : Don't tell me, you can't dance and all.. I know very well about your dancing skill. So, go!!
Saying this Mihir pushed him little, Raman and Ishita unwillingly went on the floor. He forwarded his hand when she hesitantly put her hand on him when his another hand skilled in her bare waist, he slightly pulled her close, they moved with the lyrics...

As the song end, everyone clapped, Raman and Ishita parted, he slightly smiled at her. When Ishita was going to say something but a girl arrived and asked Raman for a dance, as he agreed, Ishita left the floor. She came to a side and started talking with Toshiji and other ladies. Suddenly Ishita started feeling uneasy, she looked all around when her eyes fall on the Chandelier on ceiling, it was getting loose and she looked straight down where Raman was under that chandelier dancing with the girl. Ishita get tensed, she found Mihir, but before she called him for help, she found it was falling and she shouts : Raman!!!
And she ran away and pushed them and the light falls. As it happened in all sudden, everyone gets shocked. "Ishita!!" Toshiji shouted.
