I think that's part of CV's goal - to put characters in same situations as before to show consequences of their words/actions or growth of characters. We'll see Abhi's character go through these recycled situations because his anger makes him say things he'll pay for later.

It's not luck, it's his own choices that turn the tables on him, I feel.
