Chapter 12
Raman and Ishita gets inside the car while Mihir was driving the car, Ishita was resting her head on the window glass whereas Raman was talking with Mihir about business, once he looked at Ishita who was sleeping in that position, Raman slowly shifted from his seat and gently pulled her in his embrace, she slowly rested her head on his shoulder. Soon the car stopped near the gate. As Ishita felt jerk, her sleep broke and found herself in Raman's embrace, she parted from him. Raman got down and came in Ishita's side and offered his hand.
Ishita : I'm fine.
As she said, Raman stepped back without argue, Ishita got down but she felt difficult to walk and was about to stumbled on her feet but Raman hold her hand, she looked at him and hold his hand for support. But still she was not able to walk anymore so Raman scooped her in his arm. She just whispered his name to stop him but all in vain.
Raman : I cant walk like a tortoies. So just shut your mouth and let me do my work. I have lots of work except this!! Okay?
He taunted her and Ishita made a face when they went inside.
Toshiji uttered their name with a worried tone : Raman.. Ishita!!
Ishita looked at the family who were waiting for them. She whispered : Raman drop me down!!
But he looked on and rushed to their room. Everyone followed them, Raman landed her on bed and asked Mihir : Call the doctor Mihir.
Toshiji : Raman.. What happen?
But Raman didn't paid any attention when Ishita noticed Toshiji's worried face, so she said : Nothing mummyji. My leg just get injured.
She then looked at Raman and said : Raman I am fine now. I don't need any doctor.
But he didn't pay any attention on her word.

Doctor tied bandage on her leg saying : She is fine Mr.Bhalla. Just I have to inject..
But before doctor complete, Ishita shouted : What injection!! Why injection doctor??
Raman chuckled seeing her reaction, he teased : Why Ishita? Are you scaring??
Ishita looked at him nervous and said a big No!! Doctor smiled and take out the syringe and inject the medicine in her body. Ishita immediately held Raman's hand tightly and closed her eyes and made a painful face.
"Its done!!" Doctor said when Ishita opened her eyes and felt she was holding his hand so she removed her hand. After prescribed her medicines, the doctor left.
Toshiji : Take care puttar. I will bring some food for you.
Toshiji said and left. Raman was looking at Ishita and smirked. She noticed that and irately asked : Why are you smiling hun??
Raman :No.. Actually I was thinking..
But Mihir came in saying : Raman you have an urget meeting. The clients are waiting for you.
Raman nodded and left.

In office
Mihir was presenting the project when Raman was silently listening him, after that the client said : Congratulations Mr. Bhalla. This tender is yours.
Raman smiled and shook hand with them, when they have him contract paper to sign, Raman was going to sign the papers when he noticed some blood on his hand. He remembered Ishita held his hand so tight and her nails pinched on his hand. A smile came on his lips, after that he signed.
Raman was leaning on the chair tired, when he heard a knock on the door, without looking he said : Come in.
"Hello Raman." He heard a voice and opened his eyes, within next moment, his eyes filled with anger.
Raman : Ashok you... What are you doing here?
Ashok took a seat saying : Relax Raman!! I came here to congratulate you. I heard that you got the tender.
Raman got up from his seat, he showed him the door and said : Get out. Otherwise, I'll call the guard and they will throw you out from my office.
Ashok : Relax!! I have a best deal for you. See!! If you give me this tender, I will give you back your dream project.
Raman came to him and held him by his collar, he said : I have enough guts to achieve the project which I have lost. I am not like you who beg everywhere.
He pulled him up from the chair and said : I am least interested in your deal.
He dragged him towards the door : Now keep your deal yourself and GET LOST!!
He pushed him out from his cabin, everyone looked at Ashok who felt insulted, he looked at Raman saying : I will see you Raman.
Raman shouted : I have seen many people like you. You can't do anything. Just get lost.
After a exhausted day, Raman came back to his house. He saw Toshiji was sitting in hall along with Mr.Bhalla, he looked all around.
Toshiji : Raman are you searching for someone?
Raman : Arey maa where is that Madrasan?
Toshiji smiled and replied : She is in her room.
Raman felt something strange, he checked the watch as usually on this time Ishita helped Neelu in the kitchen. He went to check her. He went inside the room and saw her lying on her couch. He thought, she felt tired that's why she was resting. He went to take his cloths and asked : Madrasan are you okay?
He didn't get any reply but he ignored as he knew she won't answer him on the very first and he went to fresh up. After sometime he came out and saw her still lying at same position. He got little worried.
Raman : Ishita!!
He called her but again no response. So he came near her and called her while touching her hand. He was shocked as her body was burning in fever.
Raman : Oh god!! She has high fever. Ishita.. Ishita!!
He patted on her cheeks while shouting : Maa!! Romi...
He informed Romi to call the doctor, soon doctor arrived and checked her and said : Don't worry Raman. I gave her medicine. She will regain concious soon.
Raman nodded when doctor left with Romi. Toshiji took seat beside Ishita and caressed her head, then she looked at Raman and said : Puttar you go and take some rest. I am here with her!!
Raman denied saying : No maa its okay!! Its too late. You go, I am here with her.
Raman took a chair and sat near her bed. He rested his head on the back soon be drifted in sleep. Raman stirred in his sleep when his sleep broke as he was sleeping in uncomfortable position, he looked at Ishita, he sat beside her and put his palm on her forehead to check the temperature when he heard her saying : No. Please don't go!! Please.
Raman looked at her confused, he gently caressed her head saying : I'm here Ishita.
Ishita held his hand murmuring : Don't leave me. Don't leave me!! Please. I can't live without you RANVEER!!
Hearing the name, Raman stepped back, he felt something stabbed on his heart, he slowly take back his hand and went to the chair while again Ishita drifted in her sleep.
About one hour later, Raman saw some movement in her body, he straightened himself and saw her slowly gaining her conscious.
Raman : Ishita!! Ishita how are you feeling?
He asked concerned. Ishita nodded her head and going to get up when he helped her and made her sit.
Raman : You sit!! I will bring some food for you.
And he left. After sometime he came with food and placed the tray in front of her saying : Have it..
Ishita looked at Raman and said : I am not hungry!!
Raman sat next to her, he looked at her as he remembered what Ishita murmured in sleep but he composed himself and rudely said : Ishita you wasted enough time of mine, now don't behave like a child. Otherwise I know how to handle. So just have it!!
He fed her and gave her medicine and then made her sleep.
Raman woke up in morning and looked all around when he found his coffee cup on the table and his office suit was lying on the sofa, he smiled and murmured : She won't change.
After freshen up, he walked down and found Ishita working with Toshiji. He went to her.
Raman : What are you doing here?
But Ishita didn't paid any attention to him, she seemed to be lost somewhere, Raman shook her little to grab her attention.
Raman : I am asking you something!! What are you doing here?
Ishita : I am fine.
Saying this, she ran to their room, Raman looked at her confused. He then looked at Toshiji and asked : What's wrong with her? And how can you let her work today? She had fever last night.
Toshiji : Go to her. She needs you now!!
Raman told confuse : What are you talking about?
That time, Mihir barged inside and huffed. Raman turned at him.
Raman : Mihir you!!
Mihir : Raman.. Did you check the newspaper?
Raman : No. But what happen?
Mihir looked at Toshiji when Raman said irritated : Speak out yaar. Have you guys planned to irritate me in this morning? There, she ran away in her room, here Maa isn't telling me anything and now you!! Speak up. Damn it!!
He said frustrated when Mihir handed him the paper saying : Check it.
Raman checked and his temper rise. He read : The industrialist RKB spotted with an unknown girl!!
He saw the reporters posted a photo of Raman and Ishita where he carried her in his arms. Then he read rest of the paragraph where the reporters used abusive words for Ishita, they even talked about Raman's character!! They called Ishita 'a random girl' 'one night stand girl' and all. Raman angrily crushed the paper but in next moment, he cared for the one person, Ishita!! He threw the paper on the table and ran to their room.
Raman walked in the room and saw her sitting at the edge of the bed, her back was facing him, he slowly stepped ahead when he realized, she was crying. He came to her side and was going to put his hand on her shoulder but stopped when Ishita realized someone's presence, she turned and found him standing. Without second thought, she gets up and hugged him tight and cried. He patted her back to console her.
Ishita said while crying : I am sorry Raman.. I am sorry!!
Raman parted her from him and said : Sorry? Sorry for what? There isn't any fault of yours!!
Ishita : No Raman!! It was my fault. Nor I went there on that day, neither they clicked our photos and nor they could able to use abusive words for you!!
Raman was hell shocked hearing this. He thought, she was crying because they hurt her dignity but it was completely opposite, she was crying because of him. She continued with a sob : I should have understand, you must have some reasons that you hide our relationship from the world. It was my fault. I am sorry!! Please. Please forgive me.
She joined both her hands when Raman stopped her saying : Sshh!! Don't blame yourself. It wasn't your fault Ishita. Actually, it was my fault that I hide you from the world so today they able to use those words for you. I am sorry!!
Ishita cried and hugged him tight, Raman hold her back. She cried and cried on his shoulder. After some time later, she parted from him.
Raman said : Don't cry. And trust me!! I will make things right now. Now no one dare to disrespect you. You trust me no!!
He looked at her when she nodded her head as yes, he smiled slightly when Ishita was about to cry again, but Raman shook his head in no and wiped the tears saying : Stop crying!!
Ishita looked at him when they shared an eye lock, after a while later, they broke the lock when they shared an awkward moment, Raman looked around and said : Have water?
He then passed her the glass, she sipped and handed him back the glass. Raman said : You take some rest. I am coming!!
Ishita : Where are you going?
Raman : I told you no!! I will make the things correct.. So, just going to arrange everything. You take rest.
Saying this, he left the room.
Raman walked down and looked at everyone's worried face.
Toshiji : Puttar Ishita..
Raman : She is fine. Don't worry!!
He then turned at Mihir and said : Mihir!! Today itself, organize a party and call the media there. And I will give you some names, you must call them, they should be there!! Got it?
Mihir nodded saying : Sure!!
Raman sighed deeply while look on...
