Ch.3:The present

"what,YOU???" asked kushi who couldn't able to believe the scene which she is witnessing at present.

"yess...me" akaash winked seeing a flabbergasted kushi.

"but..but what are you doing here?"

"Am I not welcomed to your house kushi?" akaash asked with a smirk which could melt anyone.

"No..no its not like that akaash...it's just that...why so suddenly?"

"you ask a lot of questions kushi...first put on this dress and come downstairs." replied akaash making her surprised all over again.

"what's in it?" she couldn't control but ask it.

"shup up and change...I don't have all time to wait." He said with arrogance.

When the angel from heaven aka kushi turned up, there was nobody to greet her. She was wearing a stone embedded full dress making her look like a princess. She descended the stairs and waited for somebody to come.

"akaash.." kushi called out after waiting for a good five minutes.

Suddenly someone wrapped her eyes with a piece of cloth making kushi smile. She touched the persons hand to find out whom it is.

"Akaash"

The cloth was taken off suddenly and there stood Akaash..no no Arnav...*confused author waiting for the person to reveal himself...LOL*

"Akaash nahi...Arnav" the person...I mean arnav said making kushi's jaws drop.

"you both are playing with me, right? I lost this time too" she said with a sigh of defeat to which Arnav laughed off.

This has always been the case between these three. They once had a challenge with kushi when they were in 5^th std that she should find who is Arnav and who is Akaash correctly. Feisty kushi accepted the challenge without thinking about the consequences. what comes as a relief is that Akaash will always be busy with work and frequently goes to abroad for meetings and he comes home only once in a month so she mostly comes across Arnav only. Other than that, the main difference they have is the choice of clothes. Akaash always wears professional clothes with a waist coat while Arnav loves casuals like T-shirts, jeans etc...

Today too when Akaash wore casuals, she couldn't differentiate between the two.

Coming back to present,

Before she could utter a word, a balloon was burst and made a huge noise.

The lights were switched on and now she could get a clear vision of the hall which was now filled with her friends and family. She was not given a opportunity to think of what was happening here before Arnav whispered a HAPPY BIRTHDAY TUBELIGHT, MAY U BE BRIGHT AS TUBELIGHT AS ALWAYS'

SHE WAS THE HAPPIEST PERSON ALIVE RIGHT NOW...WOWWW!!! They gave me a surprise birthday party when I don't even remember that it's my birthday!

"Thanks a lot Arnav" an excited kushi hugged arnav without seeing the surroundings and when arnav wrapped his hands around her only did she come back to the present where everybody was giving her teasing glares, especially prerna.

She pulled out from the hug a smiled awkwardly before going back a little.

Arnav and akaash snaked both her arms side by side and made her come to the centre of the hall. A beautiful white forest cake was placed there making kushi's mouth water.

After cutting the cake, everyone came and wished her.

Time for gifts:

Prerna gave her a sweet sun dress which kushi longed to wear once. Kushi loved the dress very much that she told prerna that she will wear it tomorrow.

Next was kushi's parents; they gifted their daughter a stylish Suziki car. Though kushi isn't much interested in these expensive things, she didn't deny it.

Arnav was choosy when it comes to gifts and he presented kushi, a beautiful stone studded pendent. Kushi loved it because it was the first gift presented by arnav to her. Before years, he used to just shrug it off even if he hears the word gift. But she is really satisfied that arnav is changing now-a-days...maybe after that night.

Everything was going good, but kushi was searching for a certain someone's gift so desperately. Akaash had promised that he would gift her the most unexpected gift and kushi is more than excited to see it.

She saw akaash smirking at her. She waved her hands to which akaash smiled. She instantly ran towards him and asked for the gift with a gesture...

"Before that, I wanna ask you some questions." Akaash said patiently making kushi groan.

"Ask it fast"

"Do you have a Boy friend?"

"NO"

"Are you planning to have one?"

"No" kushi stated without thinking although a part of her was aware of what his next question would be.

"NO?" Akaash asked her again making her look at him with what the-expression.

"Yes, NO"

"What? Yes or no?"

"oh shut up akaash, you are lying to me...you don't have any gift for me" finally a fed up kushi exploded

"I am thinking of giving it tomorrow...in a more private manner" he clasped his arms around her and whispered, "What about a movie date tomorrow?"

Kushi was breathing heavily. Why is akaash behaving so strangely with her today?

She just smiled and nodded.

"Kushiii!! Payal is on the line. Come here" came a voice from her mother making her come out of the clutches from akaash.

"haan...coming mom" she shouted form here and looked at akaash before saying, "okay akaash, let's meet tomorrow. Don't you dare play any prank on me"

"What did she say?"

"She said okay"

"hmm are you sure, you are going to tell her?"

"yeah...one day or the other, she should know this."

"then it's your choice"

Other than that, u know I am writing my exam yet updating...I love my readers sooo much for reading my crappy story...muah 😆
