After Shah Rukh Khan's surprise victory at a recent award function, where he bagged the 'popular choice male' trophy for his performance in Dilwale, his junior in the industry, Ranbir Kapoor has taken offence to the actor's feat and expressed his displeasure on the 'fair selection' of the award jury.
According to our Mocktale reporter, Ranbir is protesting against the fact that if SRK could win an award for his logic defying performance in his last release, the Kapoor scion too deserves an Oscar for his overacting in Tamasha.
That's not all; the actor lost it completely when his biggest foe, Ranveer Singh bagged the best actor award for his epic drama Bajirao Mastani at the same podium. Apparently, some Ranbir Kapoor fans even started to burst crackers because they mistook Ranveer for Ranbir, like many of the duo's industry colleagues.

Tamasha itself is a award.Ashok KansalAs per Ranbir, if the jury forgot to notice his remarkable performance in Tamasha, they should've at least felicitated him for his memorable acting in Roy.
Apparently, the trigger behind Ranbir's irritation was a statement made by his girlfriend Katrina Kaif sometime last year, where she had claimed that she would only settle down after winning the much coveted national award. Rumour has it that junior Kapoor wants to win any random award to at least match up to Katrina's expectations.
Meanwhile, director Anurag Kashyap has dared to offer Ranbir the much awaited sequel to his blockbuster film, Bombay Velvet and it has been tentatively titled 'Bombay Broke-ade'.
