Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur wooed the audiences with their beautiful chemistry inAashiqui 2. During the shooting of the movie, they started liking each other and were often spotted together. But, soon, the news of their break up started doing the rounds. Now, the real reason behind their split has been revealed.
According to a report in Bollywood Life, ''It seems that Shraddha's family never approved of Aditya. Her mom was of the opinion that he was too much of a distraction for her and that Shraddha's career was just taking off and a relationship would only add more burden to it.
''Aditya's family on the other hand was quite fond of Shraddha and his sister-in-law Vidya Balan has often spoken fondly of her. But things couldn't move ahead unless both the families approved of this relationship. There was also the success factor, with Shraddha's delivering a hat trick with Ek Villain, Haider and then ABCD 2, while Aditya not quite able to do the same with the critically panned Daawat-E-Ishq,'' the report stated.
Not so long ago, Shraddha Kapoor appeared on Niranjan Iyengar's chat show, where she was asked about her affair with Bollywood hottie Aditya Roy Kapur, to which Shraddha said, "There's no truth to those link-up rumours."
Bollywood diva Shraddha Kapoor further added, ''It has been two years since that film has released, but it is not leaving us. I have said it 29,000 times.''
However, it is said that niether of them have moved on and there are chances that they might patch-up.
