Aneri Singh Raizada...

He murmured softly, tilting his head to sneak a glance at the recipient of that name.

Now I understand what ' You had me with Hello' really means. Coz you had me with that sentence. For some reason, foolish maybe, but I have read just this sentence several times... How many times when we achieve what we think to be unachievable or what we so badly want, do we check it, look at it, say it, touch it and or feel it to make sure that it is real. Is that what Arnav is feeling? It is, isn't it? And that one sentence conveys it all to me.

ASR... I have to be really slow... but somehow I didn't think of Aneri Singh Raizada as ASR... till the little girl herself said it. Another bond... Another link from parent to child. A legacy surely. She will be ASR, daughter of ASR! Why does that give me a lump in my throat?

Tae Kwon Do pose... For a story that could not be farther from the original, you have managed to sew in these important moments so effortlessly Jigs. How did you do that?

Aman at the airport... Ari will forever be that little girl in the photograph to me. Actually I am going to save that photo and if anyone finds it on my phone, well Ari will be a very good friend's daughter and the chap... will have to be her husband. Haven't decided who will be the lucky recipient of these relationships... Sorry I wander... The emotions that you had Aman feel when he sees Arnav with his family, have we not felt them when we see our siblings in a particularly joyful moment... a deserving moment. The first thought that leaves the mind is MashaAllah. How beautifully you translated that photograph into a moment in Ari and Aman's life. The kiss that he places on her tiny hand and the silent promise that he makes... The former was heart melting and the latter was heart warming, reassuring, priceless... coz here was another layer of protection for Ari... Another not insignificant barrier between her and the world out there. Jeez, I loved it. Oh... and the "Sorry, Bro. I love listening to her talk." left a silly smile glued to my face.

The seven steps into the house... I had a 'phurra' ( know what that is, right?) for it already, and still I loved that sweet moment and the innocence and wonder of the connection that she made. Seven, the same as December 7th of her birthday. And not that long ago Arnav was sitting on these same steps thinking about time and the significance of seven. That moment was bittersweet, the danger not completely averted and nothing could be happier than this moment. Another loop closed!

What an absolutely fantastic chapter Jigs. The story is almost over and you still won't let me off this emotional roller coaster. Loved it, Yaar, just loved it!

The more difficult it is to reach your destination the more you'll remember your journey ..

And what a journey it has been for all.. Broken relationships and hearts were allowed to heal ... Life truly is beginning for the Raizadas and no one day will ever be the same.. ASR junior has so much to explore ..to learn and live for as do her Mumma and Pappa

This little angel and fashionista in her Ugg-lee boots continues to steal the hearts of many, I proudly include myself, she forges relationships - Jacob Uncle !! However I think Aman Chachu maybe her favorite and vice versa !!

Misty eyed and with a mothers heart at peace knowing this child is safe and loved where she belongs, I thank you for this 'SKD' chapter on a very rough ' AD' day -

I am loving this Miss ASR and you Jigs...you are covering every emotion so brilliantly...
looks like Akhil was feeling a big neglected...am waiting to see how will Siddu react..he has been Kushi's most fav till now.. But Aneri is so mesmerizing, she will capture everyone's heart...

There was something so magical about first experiences in life. We all have had them, but something about this business of 'growing up' that it makes us forget our own (for some of us). As a mother of two, I have had the privilege of experiencing firsts twice... All that jaded cynicism I wear as an adult is stripped off in a blink when I see the world through their eyes. It is magic all over again.

And that is what you have brought here for your reader... through the eyes of Aneri Singh Raizada... Even silly immigration process is now a mystical journey for these two parents. So, thank you for taking me on this journey, yet again... Chicago airport will never be the same again. 😉

Aneri is poised to teach her parents a lesson in compassion, love and forgiveness. Most importantly she is the portal through which her parents will travel to all those mystical places that forgot, got waylaid by life's endless demands... places that she will help them travel and rediscover their own selves, entwined with hers.

What an amazing journey you have shown. I keep forgetting that this is your sapnon ki duniya... for I keep checking my contacts to call them ... visit with them...

FIrst of all sorry for not responding on the last post. I read both chapter yesterday.

Why does human require all the paper works be it to consider someone as their own or travel other countries? Birds don't require it do they? (Its just the poetic thought)

Aren't the relation of heart greater than any legal papers? Aneri was Aneri Singh Raizada- Papers or no papers from the moment they saw her. The legal documents were more for the people and for immigration; however there was a relief of achieving something the moment the paper work was done. A lengthy process is ended with the fruitful result.

So ASR - Aneri Singh Raizada is officially now the daughter of Arnav and Khushi Raizada. ❤️

Jigs I loved the plane ride and Aneri's inquisitiveness at immigration. The details that you have shown is impeccable. The immigration officer responding to the kids inquiry and then finally giving the pop pop to her. Khushi having the anxiety for brining in the minor. Despite she being the lawyer she was in limbo so imagine what would be the state of common people who have no idea of law. 👏

Aneri's surprise as to how someone can be out of the computer watching Aman, Her confusion on the time difference in last chapter, Her looking at the buildings as monuments... There are so many details in the two updates that stands out. They are very small yet very intricate.👍🏼 My fav one is when she is telling ARHI my mumma papa in front of Immigration officer. It must be the most proud moment for them.

Seven steps- Who would have thought that Aneri would have its own meaning to those steps. She is giving the house her own meaning. Kids bring happiness, liveliness and chirpiness in house and that is what our little doll is doing. Her bonding with her chachu and masi and chachu taking that kodak moment was the cherry on the top. ⭐️

Awww!!! What a lovely update jigs 😊 couldn't get enough of it ...

Kushi's aloo is officially now aloo singh raizada ASR 😃 their family is complete officially. ... Good that Aneri's first flight was without any hassles... and i was disappointed with arshi not joining the mile high club 😉 😆

Kushi's apprehensions about clearance with immi gayson are very natural. .. but who can stand our little ASR'S charms 😉 jacob uncle was clearly bowled with her cute talks.. and i loved it when she took more pop pops for her friends. .. so much of love even though she has not met them..

Aman was very cute... his promise to protect her and his happiness seeing his friends complete family shows his love and the bonding he shares with the raizadas.. God bless every family with friends like them, who are there at every step of our life 😊 she will never forget her namasthe chachaji.. 😆

Aneri has gone to her desh now and has become pardesi for us 😭 just kidding. . I'm glad that she is at a place where she belongs 😛 her home... the best part was the grand welcome she got from mathur and his family... i was amazed at the ease aneri got along with all of them and accepted everything without any hesitation. .. what arnav said is right.. she has left her past and accepted her mumma, papa wholeheartedly and forgot all her insecurities... and got free of her nightmares... everything fell into its place slowly and their family is complete now with Aneri's entry into their sweet home 😊 but I'm sure aneri will miss her nana, nani, badi dadi and her didi and Aashiyan..

What a beautiful story you have weaved with all these amazing characters jigs 👏 ⭐️ no words will do justice to describe the feeling ❤️
