Chapter 15
The morning came by, but the lovers were still sleeping peacefully after a long, beautiful and intense night of making love, the sun could not break through the thick curtains, everything around the love birds was happy, smiling and blushing with the love they made after a pretty long time. Jodha's legs were still tangled with Jalal's legs; with Jodha's upper body on top of Jalal's. They were still in the same position since last night. The baby inside; moves a bit making Jodha uncomfortable. She moved as well, unknowingly, she felt Jalal even more deeper in her. She opened her eyes and saw the state she and her husband were in. Remembering last night's love making session, she smiled, moved closer to Jalal; hugging him more tightly.
Moving her head up, she looks at the time.
"Damn, past 10 already, and hubby is still asleep." She said to herself.
"Jalal!" She tries to wake him up. Jalal twists and turns over to her side; pulling her closer to him.
Jodha moans with her eyes closed as she feels Jalal move deeper in her. She opened her eyes, looking at her husband with love.
How much more; deeper do you want to get in me, Jalal?' She whispered to herself. Jalal opened one of his eyes and looked at his lady love for a second before he shut his eyes again.
Jodha moves her head forward; cupping his face with her hands, she gives him a few kisses on his lips. Jalal opens his eyes again; giving attention to her kisses. He quietly stares at her kissing him. Soon Jalal moves his arms to her soft buttocks and kisses her back. Their French kiss slowly turned into a passionate kissing; Jalal tilted her head to the other side so he could deepen their kiss. A while of passionate kissing, they were running out of breath, they broke the kiss and landed their foreheads together; breathing heavily. Jodha felt Jalal getting hard inside her.
"You... are still.. in me. Oh my God." She whispered to him.
Jalal smiles seeing her out of breath, he gets hold of her and moves on top of her while he positions Jodha's back on the bed. He pushed himself in her more when Jodha felt a very strong, and strange pain;
"Ah." She tightly closed her eyes held Jalal's strong biceps tightly, indicating him to stop right there.
"What happened baby, you ok?" He asked her, looking at her painful face. Jodha opened her eyes and looked at Jalal.
"I don't know Jalal, get off me, it hurts." Saying these words, Jodha unknowingly startled Jalal. Jalal was confused. But when he heard Jodha saying get off her, he suddenly looked at Jodha with full shock. He remembered what he had done.
Jodha was confused looking at her husband so shocked. Suddenly Jodha felt a slight pain in her lower abdomen.
"Ouww." She mourned in pain. Jalal quickly slipped himself out of her looking at her; he was worried for his wife. He quickly got off her, sat next to her on the bed; looking at her with concern while Jodha moves her palm towards her lower abdomen.
"What happened, Jodha? Are you ok?" Said; the worried husband.
Jodha caressed her stomach and breathed in for a while.
"Yes, I'm fine now." She said. Putting her hand on Jalal's cheek, she adds;
"Jalal; you should go shower now, I'm sorry but I think I should straighten my back a little more."
Jalal bends down and gives the wifey a gentle kiss on her forehead.
"Okay, sleep a little more, I'll come back soon after shower." Jodha gives him a cute smile before he leaves for shower.
As soon as Jalal shut the bathroom door, Jodha turned around and closed her eyes to sleep.
Jalal hops himself in the shower, turns the tap on; shocked at his own actions. As the water starts falling on his face, Jalal was lost in his own thoughts.
He remembers what he has done, when he was warned already.
What have I done? The doctors told me what Jodha's condition is. What have you done Jalal, this is so wrong, and what if something happens to your child? Who will be responsible for it?
Jalal moves his eyes and looks around himself.
"No, what the heck have I done. This is not right. What ever happened last night, can put Jodha or our child in danger. No, no; I have to take Jodha for a check up. It's my mistake, damn it!"
Jalal decided to quickly take a shower and take Jodha to the doctors.
Soon Jalal comes out wrapping a towel around his waist. He quickly dries himself and rushes out to Jodha. He watches his lady love sleeping peacefully under the comforter.
He was guilty for his actions. Walking slowly, he sat next to Jodha caressing her head.
"Jodha.." He tried waking her up. It has not even been five minutes till she fell back asleep. Hearing her husband calling out for her, she swiftly opened her eyes and looked at him. She got annoyed.
"Kya Jalal, abhi abhi toh aakhn lagi hi thi; aur aap ne uttha liya. Kuch chahiye aap ko?"
[What Jalal, just now I fell asleep, and you woke up. Do you need anything?]
"No Jodha, but I forgot to tell you that I made an appointment with the doctor today for your check up, come on get up, we have to go." Said Jalal; trying to make an excuse.
"Huh, no Jalal, please cancel the appointment, make it next week, I am not in the mood to go now."
"No Jodha, please get up jaan, this is not for me or you, it's for our baby; come on get up." He said; as he tried to pull her up.
"Come on Jalal, I am feeling a little weak. I just want to sleep in, rest for a while without any disturbance. Please honey; cancel the appointment; I am fine, just need to rest"
Making her husband speechless, she succeeded to convince him.
"Fine, I will reschedule your appointment for tomorrow, ok?" He said.
"Okay fine." She replied while moving back to her sleeping position.
"Damn it." She said before shutting her eyes again.
"What?" her husband asked.
"Nothing, you go wear something, I'll get your coffee ready."
Jalal smiled seeing what a responsible wife she is, whatever happens, she never forgets that Jalal can only drink coffee, made by Jodha only.
"Thats ok baby, you're tired, sleep for a while, I'll manage for today."
"No, doesn't matter, I'll rest after getting your coffee ready."
She gets up moving the blanket aside, she was still naked. She grabbed her morning robe and went off to the bathroom.
"Damn Jodha, why do you always end up convincing me?" He cursed himself for being weak in front of his wife's love, while Jodha inside the bathroom was shocked.
"What is this, I am bleeding?" She whispered to herself. She was shocked. She was scared.
"Why am I bleeding?" She asked herself.
"This is not right, I shouldn't be bleeding while I am pregnant; at least, not now." "Something is wrong."
A tear pricked out of her eye as she started stressing.
No, Omg, please don't play this joke on me, it is not funny; why am I bleeding, its concerning me... Is my baby fine?' She whispered and asked herself again.
Jalal outside, knocks on the bathroom door.
"Jodha, you ok?"
Jodha quickly wipes her tears away and clears her voice before she answered him.
"Yes, yes Jalal, I.. I am fine.." She yelled back at her husband.
"Ok Jodha, be gentle; I am waiting for you."
Jodha just continues to look towards the door, she was unsure of what she can do. She finally decided that if her bleeding doesn't stop by tomorrow, she will have to tell Jalal about this and go for a check up. She quickly cleaned herself up and came out of the bathroom.
Jalal watches his wife coming out of the bathroom with a pale face, she was lost somewhere; more likely, she was lost in some deep thinking. And this didn't go unnoticed by her husband.
"You ok Jodha? What happened, you look lost?" He asked with concern.
Jodha broke the chain of thoughts and looked at her husband for a second.
"Yeah Jalal, Um, I'm sorry for taking so long; Just give me ten minutes and I'll make something for you." She tried avoiding looking in his eyes.
Jalal felt something was strange, she was behaving a little weird; but he didn't bother to ask her about it.
"Ok."
Jodha quickly goes to the kitchen and makes Jalal his coffee; and while making something for him to eat, she couldn't get her mind off about what she saw a while ago.
She froze for a while; while thinking. Jalal comes smelling the burnt toast.
"Jodha; what are you doing?!" Jalal came, shouting.
Jodha looked back at Jalal and smelt the burnt toast.
"Oh shit." She quickly grabbed the burnt toast without being startled; it burnt her fingers.
"Ouch!" She winced.
Jalal quickly ran towards her and took her fingers in his mouth. Soon he moved to the taps and ran her fingers through the cold water.
"Where the hell are you lost Jodha, are you stressed about anything?" He asked with concern.
"I'm so sorry Jalal, please give 2 minutes, I'll do it again." She said, as she moved back to make his toast again.
Jalal stops Jodha from going.
"No; you've made my coffee, I'll manage the rest. Now tell me what were you thinking about?"
Um, nothing Jalal, it was just an accident, I didn't realize when the toast was done and..' She whispers to her husband and stops talking half way without completing her sentence. She lowers her head and looks down. Jalal also lowers his head down looking at her cutely.
Before Jalal said anything back to Jodha, his phone starts ringing.
"Hello Abdul, what's up?" Jalal answered the call.
Jodha looks up at Jalal and gives him a sign that she's going back to bed.
Jalal nods at her and continues to talk to Adbul.
"Nothing much man, I have a few things to get done today. You say, everything fine at office?"
"Jalal man, you need to come office today, there's something that you need to know." Said; Abdul.
"Do I have to go office to know about it? Why can't you just tell me over the phone?" Says Jalal; not wanting to leave his pregnant wife alone at home.
"Jalal I cannot say anything over the phone, you'll need to come office I guess, Its important."
"Ok Abdul. Give me a while, I'll need to let your bhabhijaan know first, then I'll be there soon."
"Oh yeah. How is bhahijaan anyway?" He asked.
"She's fine by Gods grace. Ok Abdul, I'll catch you soon."
Jodha just hopped back under the comforter, laying her head back on her soft pillow, she closed her eyes when Jalal walked in again.
"Baby!" He called her.
Jodha opens her eyes once again.
"Yes? What did Abdul say?"
Jalal sits next to Jodha on the bed, caressing her head.
"Nothing interesting! But I need to go office today baby. I have some important things to get done today. But I am worried for you, I don't want to leave you alone at home."
"That's fine Jalal, you go office, and I'll be fine. No need to worry about me hubby." She smiled at her husband.
"Are you sure?" He asked, not ready to leave her alone.
She chuckles.
"Yes Jalal, I will be fine. When will you return by?"
"Probably late, I am planning to get my pending work done at office only. Is that fine with you baby?"
"Yes. I'll be waiting for you honey. Come back soon." She grabs his palm and gives a sweet kiss on his hand.
"Ok. Well, don't forget to eat and drink on time, I will keep calling you to check up on you."
"Come on Jalal, I know, I will eat and drink on time, ok?" She replied him.
"Yes, ok. Now you sleep, I'll get ready and leave for office, ok?"
"Hmm." She nodded, agreeing to him.
Jalal kisses Jodha on her forehead and gets up to get ready, while Jodha falls asleep.

At the J&J; MGI:
As Jalal walked in his office building after a very long time, coming out of the elevator; all the employees looked at their boss walking towards his office room, every employee greeted their boss.
"Good Morning Sir"
"Good to see you back, Sir"
"Welcome back, Sir"
and so on.
Jalal just kept on nodding his head back at everyone as he continued to walk on.
"Sir; Good Morning; you at office today? Is everything ok? And how is Jodha madam?" Asked; Salima.
Jalal stopped hearing Salima.
"Good Morning Salima. I have a few things to get done at office today, Jodha is fine. Thank you for asking."
Salima and Jalal exchanged smiles and he continued to his office.
Sitting on his desk, he picked up his phone and called in Sonia; his personal assistant.
"Come in." He said, and hung up.
Soon there was a knock and Jalal said;
"Come in."
Good Morning Sir, it's been a very long time, welcome back to office, how have you been sir?" Sonia asked.
"Morning Sonia, thank you so much; I've been great. Can you please give me the entire task that I mailed you yesterday, and please tell Abdul that I have arrived and am waiting for him in my office, no need to knock, just come in." Said, Jalal; relaxing his back on his seat.
"Yes sir, anything else?"
"Yes, I did not have breakfast before leaving home, please bring in something for me to eat. With an extra cup of coffee for Abdul."
"Yes sir" She said; as she noted everything down on her notepad.
"That's all."

"Heyy brother, welcome back man!" Comes in Abdul; sitting on the seat in front of Jalal's desk.
"Abdul! Brother, whats up man, how have you been?"
"Hah! Nothing interesting brother, you say, how's bhabhijaan and my Lil Man doing?"
Jalal chuckles remembering his pregnant wife.
"Both are doing fine...for now. Abdul, I did a mistake brother, knowing Jodha's condition, I gave in and pleased her when I was not meant to.. I am worried now, this happened last night, I seriously lost it.. I didn't remember Jodha's health and went on.. I asked her for a check up, but this morning she was tired and requested me to make the appointment next week. I am so worried Abdul."
Abdul hears Jalal and understood what happened.
"You should've controlled man, but I understand... Well, thats a concern here, when are you taking her for a check up? Be careful next time Jalal, it's not safe for Jodha nor your child."
"I know Abdul, I couldn't do much. Especially when my wife was seducing me, you know I'm weak in that shit, I cannot help it. Damn." Jalal cursed himself.
Jalal remembers that Abdul needed to talk to him about something.
"You needed to talk to me about thing? What was it?" Asked Jalal.
"Oh yeah. Well Jalal, we tried to investigate to find out who has leaked out the news to the media and news channels. We paid the Nine News as you told us to, and we could only get one hint that could help us to reach to that one bas***d who did all this drama by informing the news channel."
Jalal with a very serious face looked at Abdul and asked;
"And what did you find?"
"The phone number Jalal. It pretty surprising Jalal. Because the number; is none other than your own; office number.
So who ever called Nine News, called from your office phone..."
Jalal stood up in shock, thinking who the heck can do this, who has the guts to come in his office and make a phone call?
Jalal started walking around the office room like a crazy man.
"Abdul, I want you to get the CCTV cameras CD ready, I want to see who the heck came inside my office and made a phone call on the day of the office party and the next day after the party. Get them ready ASAP. I swear on Jodha...I will not leave that person whoever has done this. Who the crap has the guts to come inside my office room?
Only Sonia, the receptionist, you, Atga, and Jodha has the rights to come inside my office, that too without me. And there is no one who I can pick a finger on. Sonia, my personal assistant, I've known her for pretty long, she wouldn't do such a thing. Atga, no way, he is like my father, you; of course not. The receptionist? I don't think she can do this, that old lady wouldn't do it, she's always been nice to me and Jodha; she doesn't hate us. But then who is that one bloody bas***d who did this. Damn. Get the CCTV CDs ready Abdul. I need to know who did this..."
"Yes, you're right, can't doubt anyone here, that too without any proof. Ok, give me a while and I'll bring the CD's."
"Go go, shoo!" Said Jalal.
An hour later:
Answering the phone in his cabin; Sonia told Jalal that someone is here to meet him and is in a horrible state.
Jalal immediately orders Sonia; to let that person inside.
Soon Jalal tells the person to come in as he hears a knock on his door.
The door opens and Jalal looks up at the person. He was shocked to see him.
He quickly stood up and went to that person.
"What the heck are you doing here, that too like this. What the heck happened? Oh Geez." Jalal yelled at the person.
After all, the person was none other than his own younger brother; Mirza.
"Bhaijaan..." Mirza said.
"Shut up idiot. Where the hell are you coming from? And that too like this? You're dipped in blood idiot."
"Bhaijaan. Listen!" He yelled.
Jalal quickly took mirza and made him sit on the couch in his office.
"Bhaijaan, I just returned from hostel. On the way back, I stopped at a hut to go to the washroom and have something to eat... But bhaijaan, some bloody bas***ds were saying shit about bhabhijaan being raped? Is this true?"
Jalal ignoring Mirza's question and asked him;
"Forget about that Mirza, tell me how did you got injured?"
"That's what I am saying bhaijaan, I couldn't hear shit against bhabhijaan. Those idiots were also saying how if they got a chance, they'd also love to enjoy bhabhijaan's..." He couldn't complete his sentence.
Jalal looked away.
"And when I couldn't hear more, I fought them...and that's why I am here like this... Now tell me, what's the truth?"
Jalal gets up and goes to get the first aid box. He returns to Mirza and started telling him everything as he started to first aid him.
"So, that's what happened. And now we need to find out which bas***d ditched us in, and soon those idiots will get their punishment too." Say's Jalal.
"Bhaijaan... I am so sorry I didn't hear about this... I was busy with the last few days at hostel. Even ammijaan didn't tell me about this. I am sure she must've heard about it."
"Yes Mirza, ammijaan knows about it. She came to see us too, but unfortunately, she was there just because she found out that Jodha is pregnant; thinking she will get a grandson soon. It disgusted me Mirza. I didn't want to, but I told ammijaan off, I even yelled at her unwillingly. Because, she didn't come to see her daughter-in-law after that massive trauma my wife went through..in fact, the reason why she was there is her selfishness."
"Oh bhaijaan. I don't know what to say. This is so shocking for me. How is bhabhijaan now? And you didn't tell me that she's pregnant. Wow, congrats bhai.. I am going to be a chaachu soon." Mirza expressed his happiness.
"Is it a girl or a boy?" He added.
Jalal chuckles.
"Yeah, your bhabhijaan is fine now. Well thank Mirza, we don't know what it is yet. We are going for her first ultrasound soon." He smiled when he realized that he will soon see his baby.
"Wow bhaijaan, I am so happy for you. You remember the moment ammijaan broke all relations with you and bhabhijaan? I cried a lot, I couldn't see my family breaking down, so I decided that I should go away from everyone, and that's the only reason why I joined hostel... leaving Bakshi all alone with ammijaan.. Now that I am done and dusted with hostel, I want my family back together, and I promise you bhaijaan, I will get the Mughal Khandan back together.."
Jalal with a lot of patience sat and listened to his brother.
"Mirza, I am no longer part of the Mughal Khandan, I am no longer the Jalaluddin Mohammad Akbar. Ever since ammijaan rejected me and Jodha, I am only Jalal Mohammad, I am no longer the old Jalaludin. Indeed I miss my family, but what ammijaan has done..and what she keeps doing... I don't think we will become one family again."
"Bhaijaan please don't say that." Mirza said; with a tear rolling down his eyes.
"I want my family back together, happily" He added.
While the brothers were busy talking, Jodha had texted Jalal saying that she is going out, and will be back in an hour or so. Jalal never realized he got a message from his wife; he was too busy talking with Mirza.
Soon after a while, the brothers hugged.
"Promise me Mirza, take care of Bakshi, and ammijaan. Give my little sister a hug and a kiss from my side.. tell her I love her so much; but if she complains to meet me again, make sure you don't let her. I won't be able to see my baby sisters tears."
"Sure bhaijaan, I will. But you cannot stop me from meeting you or bhabhijaan, I want to meet Jodha bhabhijaan, and you can't stop me with that. I am coming tomorrow; I will message you when I am reaching there." Mirza said as he remembered the old days when his whole family was happily together.
"I am going now, but I will see you tomorrow bhaijaan."
"Yes; okay Mirza, I'll be waiting. " Jalal smiled and went to see off his brother.
Just when Jalal was about to enter his cabin again, he thought to call Jodha and to check up on her. But Abdul interrupted him.
"Jalal, I got the CD's"
Jalal stopped from grabbing his phone, that way; he missed checking Jodha's message again.
"Oh, come in Abdul, set the CD's on; I'll be right back.
After a while, Jalal came back with a file in his hands. He sat next to Abdul, and said;
"Play the CD."

It's been past two hours and Jodha just returned back home. She went to the washroom, throwing her handbag on the bed. Washing her face with cool water, she came out, sat on the bed lazily and took her phone out thinking about Jalal.
"He must be busy, no replies, nothing..." She threw her phone back on the bed and layed her back down for a while thinking about her husband.
"Jalal... Come back home soon, I already miss you honey..." She whispered to herself and closed her eyes.
"Rewind and pause" Shouted Jalal. He got up and looked closely as Abdul went back a little and paused right at someone, wearing a mask over its face, holding the phone to its ears.
"Abdul, zoon in." He said.
Abdul zoomed in.
"Shit, It's wearing a mask. Now i can definitely say that whoever did this, isn't some ordinary person.
"Keep it zoomed in, and play it." He said.
Abdul followed whatever Jalal said.
They had a closer look over and over again for a pretty long time.
"Damn it. Nothing useful here." Jalal said.
"Don't give up Jalal, I will take these CD's home and give you a copy too, whenever you're free; have a look at it again, I'll do the same."
"Yes, you're right, anyway, pack this up, I want to check on Jodha now, it's been pretty late."
"Sure." Abdul packed away everything and walked out while Jalal took his phone and looked at the message Jodha had sent him 3 hours ago.
"Oh Shit." He called her.
After a few rings, Jodha answered.
"Hey honey"
Jalal: Jodha man, what are you doing, where are you? And who told you to go out like this, where are you now?
Jodha: Jalal, don't worry, I am home, I got home an hour ago, I assumed you were busy, that's why I didn't bother to message or call you again.
Jalal: thank god you're safe. But where did you go?
Jodha: I went to the shops to get some stuff, just a while ago I had lunch, now cooking. When are you coming home Jalal?
Jalal: Well baby, I am pretty busy, but I guess I'll do some stuff at home. I will come around 6, don't forget to take enough rest ok?
Jodha: Of course honey, I am just making dinner; after that I will take my nap; promise!
Jalal: Good girl baby, I am missing you heaps, I am sorry my jaan, I hate leaving my pregnant wife at home alone.
Jodha: I understand Jalal, its ok.
Jalal: Guess who came office today?
Jodha: Ummm, who?
Jalal: Take a guess, he is your pet.
Jodha stopped stirring the food around and whispered to Jalal.
"My pet... Mirza..?" She asked.
Jalal: Mhm. Yep.
Jodha's eyes filled with tears. She felt happy hearing about her brother-in-law; Mirza, he was like a son to her, she remembered the days where her Mirza would walk around his Jodha bhabhijaan all the time like a little puppy, always do whatever she asks for, everyone in the house use to call Mirza, Jodha's little pet.
Jalal: Wipe those tears away baby, I know you are shedding tears now.
Jodha chuckles at her husband, he knows when-what she is doing.
Jodha: You know me too well honey.
Jalal: Of course I do.. I know what your relation with Mirza was.
Jodha: After a long time I hear about him, how has my pet been honey? She laughed as she asked Jalal.
Jalal told Jodha everything in details.
"My God, who told him to fight with other people, are the injuries too bad?" She asked with concern.
"Well, not really, but his forehead was bleeding, had a few bruises on his arms, face and the wounds on his arms were bleeding. I did as much as first aid I could on him. The idiot, he is too possessive over his bhabhijaan, couldn't hear anything against you."
"Oh my Mirza, I want to see him now, I am missing him so much." Jodha said; as she finished cooking, was now washing the dishes while holding the phone between her ear and shoulder.
"Don't worry babe, he is coming tomorrow to see you, he misses his bhabhijaan too."
"WHAT?" She yelled. Jodha was so happy, she couldn't wait anymore.
"Tell me you're not lying?" She asked again.
"Hah! No babe, am not lying, he is coming tomorrow for sure."
"Omg Jalal, thank you so much for this news. I really can't wait for him to come over, after so long I'll be seeing him..."
Jalal: I exactly know how you're feeling Jodha. Anyways I better get back to work now, I'll come home soon honey, don't forget to take rest in this excitement. Ok, love you baby.
"Hah! Will do! Love you too honey" She hung up the call and happily finished off washing the dishes. She couldn't wait till the next day anymore; she just wanted to start doing everything of Mirza's favourite. She said to herself;
"First, I should start off from cooking Mirza's favourite dishes..." She smiles as she starts remembering their old days...
