help regarding amit sana

i am from usa and they are showing indian idol 1 to us now.in theatre round amit sana was not chosen in top 30.but now i see him in group c. and still he is not chosen in top 9.how he came in top 11.can any one tell me please. and why priyanka venktasvar is not shown in top 11when she was chosen in top9?please some one tell me .
