I know alot of people hate Kareena and Ash on IF, but putting aside your hatred for them I am so happy to see that they have more work or just as much work as their younger contemporaries, and not only do they have the same amount of films, they also have GOOD Work, substantial work to do in those films!!!...What a great time for cinema!

2016 movie count:

Kareena and Ash both have 2 releases in 2016, and Ash might have 3 actually!

Katrina - 3 Films ( if JJ releases)

Alia - 3 Films (if her movie with SRK releases)

Shraddha 3 Films (if OKK remake releases)

Sonakshi - 2 Films

Priyanka - 1 Film

Sonam - 1 Film

Kangana- 1 Film

Parineeti - 0 Films

Deepika - 0 Films (unless she shoots something quick and has a year end release)

Don't think Alia-SRK film is releasing this year

I m happy dat d trend wrt to working age of actresses is changing...Madhuri, Sridevi, Juhi etc too deserved to stay as much as khans, kumar n devgan
Altgh I feel de don't have more demand dan some of d young guns like priyanka, deepika bt de r competing wid dem is in itself a triumph considering bollywood's misogynist norms

I was looking at the films of 2016 recently, and I couldn't help but think this could be a good year for Kareena...for some reason I'm looking forward to her role in Udta Punjab. And then Katrina's in the game with multiple films...Kangana also may do really well with Rangoon. Sometimes a good performance at the end of the year is all that is needed to have a memorable year.

Pari with 0...I don't want to think it, but it almost looks like she's done. 3 years with no films...that's a tough thing to get back from. Still all you need is one good film and you're back in the game, but she has...none.😕 That's not really fair for her because she's such a good actress but it's been much too long now
