Part 10
Swara was nervously cracking her knuckles, she was soo scared that what would it be like, the woman she considered her mother had done this to her. How would she ever be able to forgive her for what she did not only had Badi Maa successfully separated her from Sanskaar she had separated a father from his daughter and her daughter had been fatherless for four years, She had to go through her pregnancy cravings alone, Sanskaar had missed his daughter's first step, her first word and all this just because Badi Maa had not deemed a Bengali girl fit to be Maheshwari Khandaan's bahu. She could not control the tears that had started to flow from her eyes.
Besides her Sanskaar noticed Swara crying and tried to pacify her, cupping her cheeks lovingly he leaned towards her face and lightly pecked her cheeks and drank her tears away. Her tears tugged at his heart he could never bear to see her tears. Leaning back slightly and directly looking into her eyes and caressing her cheeks he said, "Shhh Swara please shant ho jao, ab hum ek hai no one can ever come in between us ever again, I promise Swara" Swara could not control herself and tightly embraced him. I stood in each other's embrace for what felt like hours but then Sanskaar came back to his senses they had come here to expose badi... no Mrs. Annapoorna Maheswari and soon their plan would be set into motion.
"What are you doing here?" Annapoorna asked Kavita as soon as she came into the line of her vision. "I want my money" Kavita said uninterestedly. "What money? I have already given you the payment of your fees, why are you back after so many years?!"
"Oh please Mrs. Maheshwari that was just a token and you wouldn't want my tongue to accidently slip in front of your family right?" "How dare you threaten me you vile woman!" and raised her hand to slap her but Kavita caught it mid way and laughed humourlessly but before she could say something they were interrupted by Sanskaar and Lakshya.
"Maa aap yaha iss waqt kya kar rahi ha?" and then turning towards Kavita feigning shock he continued "Aur vo bhi iske saath?"
"Voo main beta... main voh... vohh.." "Ohh please Sanskaar I called her here to give me money"
"What money Maa?" Kavita smirked and said "Ohh dear this woman here offered me some money to separate you and your wifey dearest, remember our encounter at your office?!"
Sanskaar narrowed his eyes at Kavita and said "I don't trust you" Kavita smiled maliciously and in blink of an eye placed a knife at Lakshya's throat who till now was a silent spectator.
"Sach bolo varna..." Annapoorna fell on the ground and started begging, "Please mere Lakshya ko chod do usne kuch nahi kia sab galti meri hai, please saza mujhe do mere bte ko nahi.. usko please jana do.. Haan mene hi iss ladki ko paise diye the to separate you and Swara because I could not bear that half Bengalan as the bahu of Maheshwari Khandan" she hiccupped.
"Then Kavita removed the knife from Lakshya's throat and said "there you have here confession now please take the complainst against me back" Sanskaar nodded at her and she left.
Annapoorna stared at them wide eyed was this some sort of plan but why, how' she stood up but before she could even form a sentence she was roughly grabbed and slapped by none other than DurgaPrasad Maheshwari. "How could you? Tum apne hi bte ke saath aisa kaise kar sakti ho Annapoorna? Sharam aati hai mujhe tumhe apni patni kehte hue"
"Ji humein maaf kar dijiye please isse humari nadani samajke humein maaf kar dijiye" She begged in front of DugraPrasad.
"Jiji aap mhare chore ke saath aisa kaise kar sakti hai, mene apko badi behen ka darja diya aur apne, apne yeh sila diya uska!" Sujata literally roared.
"Hum tumhe tumhare maayke vaapis bhej rahe hai aaj ke baad hume tumhari shakal mat dikhana"
"Yeh sab tumhari vaje se hua hai, hum tumhe chodenge nahi" Annapoorna said pointing towards Swara. Sanskaar came and stood in front of Swara and replied "Main aapka saya bhi apni zindagi pe padne nahi dunga" Annapoorna was taken from there.
Sanskaar hugged Swara and placed a soft kiss on top of her forehead "Ab sab theek ho jayega Swara" everyone left and quietly and gave the couple some privacy.
6 weeks Later
"Papa you are going to leave me again?" Sanskriti asked teary eyed. Sanskaar picked her up and placed her on his lap and wiping her tears off he pecked her forehead.
"Baby it's only for one week and then you me and mommy will go to Disney Land" Sanskriti's eyes widened and she placed a wet kiss on his cheek and rushed to her Ragini masi to tell her about her new trip.
Swara came out of the Bathroom drops of water falling from her hair and she had tied a lose turban around her head. Swara smiled and said "So you finally told her?" Sanskaar got up from the couch and hugged Swara from behind and replied "Yope"
"Sanskaar kya kar rahe ho? Chodo mujhe koi aa jayega" Sanskaar started placing trial of soft kisses on her shoulder making Swara's colour change to bright red.
Wiggling Swara tried to free herself "Sanskaar I don't feel right to leave Sanskriti alone for one week and go to Hawaii, I mean yes I want to spend some alone time with you but..." Sanskaar placed his lips on hers effectively cutting her off mid sentence.
"Swara I can understand your fear but yaha sab hai Sanskriti ka dhyaan rakhne aur Ragini aur Lakshya bhi hai na and then next week hum teeno Disney Land jaa rahe hai for effective family time" Swara nodded. Finally her life was back on it's track she had her husband on her side her family supporting her and her daughter had a whole family who dotted on her.
She knew she had to tell Sanskaar soon but she did not know how to break the news to him. Sanskaar saw worry lines etched on Swara's face and smoothening them out he asked "Kya hua Swara, if you are so worried we can cancel our trip baby nothing is more important to me than you and Sanskriti"
Swara smiled and shook her head "actually I had something to tell you" This made Sanskaar raise his eyebrows, Swara took his hand and placed it on her abdomen, Sanskaar's frown broke into a radiant smile. "Really?" Swara nodded.
He picked her up and twirled her "You have made me the happiest man on the Earth today, Swara" and proceeded to make love to the love of his life.
