So Miss.Havisham. Its weird but in my illustrated copy of the book, she has this hairstyle under the veil.

TFS.

Tabu is timeless.

Absolutely. Tabu is too young to play Miss. Havisham. Rekha was best suited but Tabu will nail it with her performance.

The look is odd, Miss Havisham was so disturbed that she stayed in her wedding gown , even though it was shabby, she looks way too stylish! Rekha would have looked the part.

I hope this is just the look; not an actual still from the movie. Rekha's look was way better and it went with what the character is supposed to be.
Changing the look, age is one thing but then changing the background, motivations of a central character will effect the whole plot and it won't be the same.

Here is Rekha's look to give you an idea;

Miss Havisham never left her house after her wedding day. She shunned the society and allowed only few people to see her.

This looks like a drastic departure from that.

^^ Woah..There is such a drastic difference between the two looks..How i wish it was Rekha..No offence to Tabu..She is fab but Rekha suits the part a lot more than her..

I agree that rekha was the better choice, I was reading a quick summary of the great expectations and rekha came to mind wen I pictured miss Haversham
Also tabu looks stylish, miss Haversham stayed in the same wedding dress

And apparently pip and estelles love was one sided? Pip loved her but she didn't feel the same way until the end of the story, so I'm a bit confused that noor and firdaus hav kisses and love scenes in the film

Maybe abhishek kapoor is making his own interpretation of the book
