Aaliya smiled in a fake manner as her friend commented something and her other friends giggled. As the girls continued to gossip and giggle Aaliya rolled her eyes. Why am I here? Aaliya wondered for the thousandth time. Oh yes! Because her family had urged her to go out. Aaliya rolled her eyes again. Turns out her family seemed to think she was stressed out in the recent days and deserved an evening off. So when her friends had come home to invite her for the New Year's Party, her family had nagged, pleaded, demanded and even ordered that she went out with them. What none of them considered was that the friends that had come to invite her where actually social butterflies who always got on Aaliya's nerves due to their gossiping abilities and snobbish attitudes. With a sigh, she forced herself back to focus on what her friends were saying. It turns out she was doomed to be in the company of these shallow ladies till the clock struck and the New Year began! Why Allah Miyaah why? Aaliya miserably thought but gave a bright fake smile when one of her so called friends looked her way.
As Aaliya took a sip from the glass in front of her, non alcoholic by the way unlike her friends who were half drunk by now, she took a look around the club she and her friends had landed in. It was one of the trendiest clubs in Mumbai and Aaliya spotted many celebrities dancing on the floor. Her friends seeing her glance urged her to go and dance but Aaliya refused. She had no interest in dancing. She just wanted to go home and welcome the New Year with her family. But I am stuck here! Uff!
Aaliya adjusted her little black dress which barely reached her mid thigh and brushed her hair, left open for the night, off her bare shoulders. She was wearing one of her favorite halter neck black dress as it showed off her back without looking sleazy. As she continued to look around, a man in black caught her eyes. His full sleeve shirt, trousers and shoes, all were in black. Interesting! Aaliya looked at the man who was sitting at the bar with his back to her. As she stared at the man, he turned around and their eyes locked. Aaliya felt her breath stop. Without knowing, her tongue darted out of her mouth and licked her lips.
The man stared at Aaliya for a while before he raised his hand to wave at her. She waved back. Taking that as an invitation the man got off his seat and walked towards her. Aaliya got up too with a smile on her face and walked towards him. They met half way but before she could say something he raised his hand for handshake, "Hi! My name is Zain!" Aaliya raised an eyebrow and then smirked, "I am Aaliya!" As she gave her hand in his for handshake, instead of shaking it, he turned her hand and kissed its back. Aaliya's eyes widened and he spoke, "Lovely name!" "Thank you!", Aaliya responded flirtatiously.
"Would you like to dance?", Zain asked.
Aaliya shrugged, "Sure! Why not!" With her hand in his, both walked to the dance floor where another song started playing just then.
Come Around
Its Time To Baby Come Around
Come On Na
Come Around
Its Time To Baby Come Around
Come Around
Zain dragged Aaliya right to the middle of the dance floor.
Khwabon Bina Nigaahein Meri Jee Rahi Thi
Koi Nahi Tha Yeh Akeli Meri Thi Zindagi
Oh Oh Yeah!
Aaliya grinned as Zain danced goofily.
Khamosh Tha
Hothon Pe Baat Nahi Thi
Koi Nahi Tha Yeh Akeli Meri Thi Zindagi
Zain started spinning her around making her laugh and enjoy.
Tum Mile Toh Mil Gaya Yeh Jahaan
Tum Mile Toh Har Pal Hai Naya
Tum Mile Toh Sab Se Hai Faasla
He pulled her close and then dipping her down he pulled her up.
Tum Mile Toh Jaadu Chaa Gaya
Tum Mile Toh Jeena Aa Gaya
Tum Mile Toh Maine Paaya Hai Khuda
As the song continued, Aaliya joined Zain in doing goofy moves.
Come Around
Its Time To Baby Come Around
Come On Na
Come Around
Its Time To Baby Come Around
Come Around
Come Around
He grabbed her hands and placed them around his neck.
Palkein Moondein Chaahat Meri So Rahi Hai
Khushboo Hawaaon Mein Thi Maine Nahi Mehsoos Ki
His own hands sneaked around her waist.
Jaane Kahaan Bahaarein Meri Khil Rahi Thi
Khushboo Hawaaon Mein Thi Maine Nahi Mehsoos Ki
He pulled her close making her take in a sharp breath.
Tum Mile Toh Mehki Baarishein
Tum Mile Toh Jaagi Khwaahishen
Tum Mile Toh Rangon Ka Hai Silsila
All the playfulness was gone from his face and he stared at her intensely.
Tum Mile Toh Jaadu Chaa Gaya
Tum Mile Toh Jeena Aa Gaya
Tum Mile Toh Maine Paaya Hai Khuda
As the song ended, it was undeniable that there was passion sizzling between them. Zain led Aaliya to the side unable to leave her even for a second. His eyes stared at her intensely and she gave him a sexy smile. With his heart thudding in his chest, he pulled her close and whispered in her ear, "I can get a room at a nearby five star Hotel for the night! If you want!"
Aaliya pulled away from him with wide eyes and Zain wondered if he went a step too far, but then Aaliya smiled, "Sure! Why not!" Without a single glance to her friends behind her, Aaliya let Zain drag her off for a night of passion and romance.
As they entered the hotel room after Zain did the booking, Zain looked around and spotted a champagne bottle nearby courtesy of the hotel. With a smirk he picked it up. He turned towards Aaliya, "Would you like some champagne?"
Aaliya shook her head as she stood between him and bed, "No! I would rather go directly for the dessert!", Saying this, she unzipped her black dress and let it drop on the floor. Zain's eyes blazed with passion and he started to walk towards her. She watched him with smoldering eyes and as he neared her, she kissed him.
"In next few minutes, it will be a new year!", Aaliya commented as she cuddled up with Zain. They were lying on the bed in the room Zain had booked for the night. His fingers drummed idly on her bare hip while she made doodles on his chest with her fingers.
Zain grabbed the fingers doodling and started kissing them one by one.
"Zain!", Aaliya whined, "Atleast wait for the new year to ring before going for another round!"
Zain huffed, "What can I do when you tempt me so much?"
"Like you tempted me by wearing all black!", Aaliya whispered and kissed his chin.
"I don't know what you are talking about!", Zain shook his head while looking at her innocently.
"Don't lie!", she playfully slapped his cheek, "You know very well what I am talking about! You know what your wearing black does to me!"
Zain raised an eyebrow, "Look who is talking! You wore that little black dress knowing very well what it does to me!"
"May be!", Aaliya spoke playfully and grinned mischievously at him. Then she frowned, "But why did you come to the pub? You told me you had some meeting! That's why I had to go out with those snobbish friends! Because you weren't available!"
Zain shrugged, "When I was told that you had gone out with those friends, I knew very well you would be miserable! So I decided to cut short the meeting and meet you at the pub and take you home! But when I saw you in the little black dress, I had another idea!"
"Hmmm... Yes! The idea of getting a room in the hotel!", Aaliya mused.
Zain rolled his eyes, "So that we could welcome the New Year without interruptions from our family!"
Aaliya kissed at the corner of his mouth, "You did the right thing Mr. Abdullah!" She was about to say something when the gong rang loudly signaling the start of New Year. The countdown began outside and then they heard lots of firecrackers signaling the start of the New Year.
"Happy New Year Mr. Abdullah!", Aaliya mumbled as she hugged Zain tighter.
Zain kissed her on her head and held her tighter, "Happy New Year Mrs. Abdullah!"
