Hello All after a really long time!
Above is the first post I made in this forum. First post I ever made anywhere, for that matter. My palms had been sweating and a part of me kept wondering what kind of insanity I was contemplating..going in front of strangers.. writing nonsense..
Three years and nine published books later, here I am. Now I look back..think back..Where would I have been without the comments that followed that first post of mine? Without all those comments that followed every single update I ever wrote in this forum? Without those reviews, pestering for updates, demands for scenes.. Certainly not where I am now. A woman with a successful career as a writer. A wife whose husband today proudly introduces her as, "My wife. She is a writer." A mother whose kids strut when they declare in their class that their mom is an author. I got all that and more because of you. Each and every one of you in this forum.
Since I don't come here often, you all probably think that I have forgotten you all..moved on..moved away. Believe me, I have forgotten nothing. I owe you all something that I can probably never repay. And I take this opportunity to once again thank you all for all those timeless treasures you have given me. You all have laid the foundation on which I am standing today.
Along with my career, this forum has given me some very great friends. Friends who have now become a part of my life. My family. No matter where I am, they would be my family. The family I chose..the one that chose me.
And on this New Year's Eve, I thank you.. each and every one of you and wish you a very happy New Year. May 2016 bring you all joy, peace and prosperity to you and your entire family. Have a great day and a fantastic year!
