Ragini (Lakshya) OS- The Burning Secret?
It was midnight Ragini was on her bed, and looked restless!
She looked at Lakshya who was sleeping nearby on the sofa.
Suddenly she got up and took out three photographs from the drawer of her bedside table.
She stepped towards the balcony humming a tune, took a pot and ignited fire in it. Then she took out the first photograph, the photograph of the Maheshwari family. She looked at it (still humming the tune), tore the photograph and put it into the pot.
Ragini took out the second photo, it was her marriage photograph, a beautiful Marwari bride with her perfect Marwari husband (this was her thought that time which was dead now). She looked at the photograph gave a faint smile (still humming the tune), closed her eyes and put the photograph in the pot.
She took out the third photograph and stopped humming, looked at the photograph and started crying.
Lakshya who woke up due Ragini humming a tune was witnessing all this, he wanted to approach Ragini but something stopped him.
There was guilt in his eyes, he felt guilty for hurting Ragini. But then why was he guilty, when whatever happened had happened only because of Ragini's fault.
She was the main culprit but somehow Lakshya couldn't understand, couldn't understand Ragini. She loved her family but then was hurting them too!
But all Lakshya could feel was Ragini's pain.
Ragini who was crying looking at the photograph quickly stood up wiped her tears, kissed the photograph and said Sorry!
She took the lighter and burnt that photograph.
Ragini was in such a bad state, emotionally broken that looking at her Lakshya felt helpless and cursed himself for breaking her heart. He found himself helpless and went out of the room downstairs. He sat on the staircase and remembered the first time he had met Ragini, the sweet, innocent, traditional Marwari girl. He somehow felt responsible for bringing such a drastic change in Ragini.
He was lost in the memories of Ragini, transported to some other world then suddenly the sound of a Gun Shot brought him back to senses...the sound which came from his room, he ran towards his room only to see if Ragini was alright...
But...he reached there only to see Ragini lying in a pool of blood. The bullet had penetrated through her forehead, leaving behind many unanswered questions.
