Divyanka Tripathi, popular as Ishita from Ye Hai Mohabbatein, celebrated her 31st birthday with her family in Bangalore! She says after shooting for intense scenes, she needed to unwind and a good option was being with her family.

Divyanka turned 31 on December 14 and she kept it a private affair. She flew to Bangalore to bring in her birthday.

When asked why Bangalore, she said: "My elder sister stays there. I really needed this break after doing high-intensity drama scenes in my show. Looking forward to spending some time with only family and closest friends."

Divyanka is looking forward to the New Year.

When asked about her future plans, she said: "It has been a hunky dory year and the way forward I'll be celebrating my new life with this New Year. Wishing and hoping for a lot more success with a variety of work in the kitty."

Taking home two awards, Divyanka was surely in the seventh heaven. Talking on the same she shared, "We TV actors work really hard. The biggest motivation for mostly all the actors is the recognition and appreciation for their talent."

Overwhelmed with the title, she added, "I am thankful to Indian Telly Awards that they recognized me as the most impactful personality of the year. For me, it's a memorable adieu to the eventful year 2015."
