Riddle:

I'm independent while I'm dependent,
I roam free as I wish and I stay put till u present.
Third I got explored and I was seen in fourth,
Six was our crucial need don't forget the final solved it with us both.

Clue:

Our owner may be some other and used u saw by another.

One of the answer is a thing

The answer is a double answer e.g. Sirius-Lupin or Dumbledore-Deluminator etc.

One of the answers is related to the Patronus.

Harry-Dumbledore this is how the riddle answers are related. So the first one is close to Harry and Patronus and the second one is a Thing and related to Dumblerdore.

Harry+Patronus : Stag, Lupin, doe, dementor, boggart, chocolate, james, lily

Dumbledore+thing - deluminator, cloak, elder wand

Since the answer is a double answer , it is difficult to say which line is talking about which answer ..

I concede , so I 'll just wait for the answer to be posted after everyone has had their say in the guessing game ..

memories are recalled by owners but pensieve has to have memories in it to work

memories roam with owners but pensieve stays in the place it it put
Third I got explored and I was seen in fourth,

POA Lupi told Harry to look for his happiest memory to produce the patronus and in GOF the pensieve was introduced to us
Six was our crucial need don't forget the final solved it with us both.

In HBP Slughorn's memory was needed to confirm the horcrux theory and in DH the memory of Snape solved the questions we had on Snape's behaviour.

Clue:

Our owner may be some other and used u saw by another.

The owner of Pensieve was Dumbledore but we saw it being used by Harry
