PART 16

Time flies but not memories. People generally say - Life changes after marriage. In their case this happened, but it happened for better. Their love was blooming each day. Life can be difficult at times but when you have a partner who could take away all your pain, it could turned out to be a blessing.

Many things changed in Bhalla house in last 2 years.

Simmi settled in her life again. Though she was reluctant to begin her life again with someone but Ishita helped her move ahead in her life. She settled with her childhood friend Armaan Malhotra in Canada.

On the other hand Mihir found his soul mate in Mihika, Dr Batra daughter. Mihika was the patient of first stage leukemia. Both met each other during a family get together in Bhalla house. Unlike Raman Ishita it was not love at first sight. They become friends first, then lovers. Mihir constant support during her treatment helped her come out it. After 8 months of exhaustive and painful treatment, love won over destiny. Mihika completely recovered. Both had grand wedding. Dr Batra was the happiest of all as he found a son in Mihir, god's boon to Mihika.

"True love is not like a fairy tale where everything is rosy. True love is all about facing the challenge and overcoming the hurdle to make life a bed of roses."

For Ishita Raman 2 years of their marriage life passed, but their love was still fresh. It was like a petal in the wind, which flows softly giving enough memories in the process. A successful marriage requires falling in love many times, always with the same person. Raman Ishita were not exception they were falling in love with each other with every passing day of their life.

They were celebrating their second Holi together. Raman was being more cautious this time. He still remembers their Holi last year. Simmi and Ishita ganged up against him, while he poor soul was left to their pity.

Today 2 years later, he was standing in front of his home, recalling his life in past two years while all were busy in their own world playing holi. His traced was broken hearing his wife giggling sound. He looked in that direction and saw her standing, giggling looking at sky. He went near her and pressed her shoulder.

Raman - Ishita

She smiled and pulled his cheeks.

Ishita - Raman Awe.. So cute
She spoke pulling his cheeks and hugged him.

It was a surprise for him. It was unlike her behavior. She is always cautious about her behavior in public and here she was pulling his cheeks, standing in middle of garden.

Raman pulled her away from him.

Raman - Ishita

Ishita - I love you Raman. She spoke kissing his cheeks.

Raman - Ishita Are you okay

Ishita - Off course Raman. What will happen to me when you are with me because you love me. Raman I want to eat ladoo.

Raman - Ladoo.
He realized she was behaving this under the effect bhaang.

Raman - Ishita How many ladoo you had.

Ishita smiled raising her fingers- One Two Three...Three...Three
Raman what comes after three.

He chuckled- Ok.. I don't want to know. Lets go inside. You need rest.

Ishita - No I won't go inside. I want to have ladoo.

Raman - Ishita bas.

Ishita - No...ladoo ladoo

Raman spoke a little louder - Enough Ishita . Not a single word more.

She started crying like a child - I hate you. You don't love me anymore. You will love your...

He kept his hand on her mouth - Chup Plz.. Bacha .. I love you. You want ladoo. I will give you but first let's go inside.

Ishita - Promise

Raman - Promise..
He lifted her in his arms while she rested her head on his shoulder.

He took her to their room and placed her on bed. He was about to move back when she wrapped her arms around his head, pulling him to her.

Raman - Ishita bacha . Sleep

Ishita - No first you kiss me

Raman was amused by her behavior. He smiled and kissed her forehead.

Raman - Khush... Now sleep

Ishita - Raman you love me

Raman - Ishita soo jao.

Ishita - No answer me first.

Raman took a deep breath - Yes . I love you

Ishita - You will love me even if I irritate you

Raman - Yes
He was enjoying this now.

Ishita - Even if I get fat tomorrow.

Raman - Haan

Ishita - If I will ask for anything in middle of night.

Raman - Yes Bacha

Ishita - I will be your bacha even after he comes in this world. She said pointing towards her tummy.

Raman eyes widened in shock - Ishita what did you say.

Ishita - You answer me first You will love me the same even after junior Raman or Ishita comes into this world.

Raman - Ishita plz jaan say na. Are we becoming parents?

Ishita - No you answer me first. Will you love the same.

Raman - Haan Haan Ishita I will love you more. Now please say na. Is it true

Ishita smiled and closed her eyes hugging him, lost in sleep.

Raman - Ishita Ishita
She snuggled closer to him. He covered her with duvet and kissed her forehead. His hands then travelled to her stomach.

Raman - Hey baby. Thank you for coming in our life. Your mumma didn't told me anything and slept leaving me die in suspense.

He smiled - But I can feel you. I know you are coming. Papa loves you a lot. Come out soon. Papa waiting for you

He kissed her tummy and took her again in his arms.

Few hours later , Ishita opened her eyes, finding herself alone in room. Raman walked in juice in his hand.

Ishita ( rubbing her eyes) - Raman main yahan kaise ( Raman How am I here)

Raman - So you don't remember anything.
He placed glass on side table and tucked a strand of hair behind her ears.

Raman - Ishita you had bhaang yesterday. How can you be so careless. What if something happened to you or baby.

Ishita - Baby... She stammered Who told you

Raman - Jaan you told something about junior Raman Ishita before sleeping. Now please tell me Is it true

Ishita lowered her eyes - Yes

Raman hugged her tightly - I knew it. Thank you ..Thank you Ishita

He realized she was sobbing hugging him.

Raman cupped her face - Bacha kya hua. Why are you crying

Ishita - That was your birthday gift. I spoiled it.

Raman smiled - Pagal ladki . You are crying for this. Jaan I am surprised. You have given me this precious gift. First you came into my life and now our baby. You have given me everything today.

She smiled - But you will love me the same.

Raman hugged - I will love you more. My love for you is growing each day. You are my first bacha and will always remain. On serious note I think I should start worrying now how will I handle you two together.

Ishita hit him slightly while he engulfed her in his arms protecting her from world.

Next day morning, Ishita was serving Mr and Mrs Bhalla as her daily routine, when Raman came from behind.

Raman- Ishita Why are you serving.

Ishita- I do this every day.

Toshiji- What happened Puttar. Why are you over reacting.

Raman - Maa I was just saying her to sit because I want to serve you all today.

Mr Bhalla raised his eyebrows- Yeh Hui na Baat. We Bhalla's always help their wives in house hold chores. Carry on. I am proud of you.

He made her sit forcibly and started serving them. Toshiji and Ishita looked at each other and smiled. He filled her plate with food.

Ishita - Raman what are you doing. How will I eat this much?

Ramna- Ishita you should eat well now.

She was about to take coffee when he stopped her and handed her a glass of juice.

Raman- No coffee from now on wards. You will have juice

Toshiji was observing him from long time - Puttar let her have coffee. Why are you stopping her.

Raman - Arre maa I am saying this for her health. She should have healthy food during this time. It's not good for the baby.

Ishita looked at Raman while Mr and Mrs Bhalla were happily surprised.

Toshiji- Kya ...Puttar We are becoming grandparents.

Raman nodded his head smiling while Ishita looked down blushing.

Toshiji stood up and hugged her. She bend down to take her blessing when she stopped her.- No puttar you shouldn't bend in this condition.

Mr Bhalla blessed her too. Ishita was shyly looking down while Toshiji brought sweets for all and fed her with her own hands.

Raman made a sad face- Maa. Why is no one congratulating me? Even I am becoming Father. Maa You forget me half after marriage and now after baby you will forget me completely.

Mr Bhalla- Off course beta asal se zyada sooth pyara hota hai.(Interest amount being dearer than the principle amount)

Raman smiled and took blessing from his parents.
