Hey lovelies,

Here I am back with another update. Please have a look.

Chapter 1

"No. Amma!! Why don't you understand, I want to make my career first, then I will think about my marriage. Remember THINK!!" Ishita snapped.


"But Ishu, at least meet with him once. You may like him, we aren't forcing you kanna. But you can.. Okay!! At least see him once. I have his photo. Wait, I'll bring it here." Madhvi said and was going to leave but Ishita stopped her saying, "Wait amma!! I don't want to see him, I don't want to meet him. Am I clear?"


"But..."


"Madhu.. It's okay. When she isn't ready then just don't force her. See!! Still we have time, let her enjoy the life." Mr. Iyer tried to make her understand.


"But Vishwa.. See!! He is a doctor. And our Ishu wants to marry a doctor. Isn't Ishu?" Madhvi Sarcastically asked.


"Really amma? When did I say so? Don't make anything in your mind. Anyway, I have decided, I'm not going to marry right now. So just End the topic right here." Ishita replied while chewing her breakfast.


"Then.. Which type of partner you want?" Madhvi asked.


For a second, Ishita stopped chewing her food, "Amma!! Don't you understand, I'm not ready to marry. So, just stop it." she snapped but Madhvi was going to say something but Ishita cut her saying, "Okay fine. You guys carry on.. I'm leaving." saying so, Ishita took leave from there.


As Ishita walked down from her apartment, she got a call from her friend, "Yeah!! Say Lavanya."


"Ishita... Yaar!! How can you react so cool?" she asked.


"What happen Buddy?" Ishita asked confuse.


"Today is our MBA final result!!"


"Oh!!" first she replied this but as Ishita realized, she asked aloud, "WHAT?"


As she said, some of people looked at her astonished, as she was quiet loud, realizing this she bite her tongue, "What.. What are you saying?" she whispered.


"Have you lost your voice!! Why are you whispering?" Lavanya asked.


"Nothing. Okay. Okay. Now I'm coming to the college, meet me in the canteen." she quickly hung up the call and prayed, "God.. Please save me."

"Have you gone mad? Did you realize, what we lost for you? How can you be so careless. No. I can't tolerate it. I can't take any risk further. YOU'RE FIRED!!" he scolded and hung up the phone and throw it on sofa.


"Raman.. It was just a..." Mihir tried to give a reason when he cut him off saying, "Just a WHAT Mihir? We have lost the project, can you imagine? I was working on this project from last two weeks... Yaar!! I've invested 5 Lakhs... And now the project slipped from my hand." he said frustrated.


"You calm down. I completely understand your situation but yaar.. Money isn't everything in life no!!!!"


"You're wrong. Money is everything. If you've money then you'll get the respect, the value from this society. And who else can understand better than me?" he replied.


"Raman.. How long will you walk with that burden? Forget it yaar." Mihir replied.


"No. Mihir no.!!" he stood up and went near the window, he could see the Mumbai city well from that height, "You know what Mihir, that memories are my strength to achieve the heights of success."


"What do you want to prove Raman?"


"Nothing but I want to show her that when she ditched me, I had nothing but today... Today I've everything, I've the power that can make someone's life and also can destroy..."


"But Raman.. You're forgetting something!! LOVE!! Which is equally needed in life."


Raman smirked and said, "Love? It isn't in my dictionary Mihir."


"It is.. But you closed the door of your heart too hard, that no body is able to enter here." he pocked his finger on his chest, "Just once.. Just once, be that old Raman and see, how beautiful the life is..."


"Done?" Raman snapped, Mihir shook his head being failed, "Now tell me, why did you remember me suddenly?"


"Actually... Next week has my marriage and..." But before he could complete, Raman said, "Don't expect me to come."


"Raman bhai please... See!! Because of you, me and Mihika got engaged and so, I want you to be the part of my happiness. At least, not for the others but for myself. Please..." he pleaded cutely that Raman couldn't deny, "Okay fine. But don't tell me, they have arranged the wedding in Chennai."


"Actually..." Mihir said with low voice.


"Damn!! You know what Mihir, still I don't get what you had seen in that girl that you had fallen for her so easily, I mean.. You're handsome, good looking and she.. She's typical Madrasi. How will you adjust after the wedding, I wonder. Now you've to spend your rest of the life with Idle-Sambhar." he teased.


"Raman.. Now you're making fun of me no!! One day, you'll see, you'll change yourself for someone." Mihir said sadly.


"Really!! That will happen in your dreams only. Raman Kumar Bhalla will never change for anyone. And by the way, don't get sad, I know Mihika is a nice girl and I'm happy for you." he hugged him.


"Well, I've informed auntyji about my wedding. They have to come along with you." he insisted and soon took leave from his office.

St. Paul's College,


Ishita was sitting along with her friends in the canteen, she stomped her feet on the floor and biting her nails nervously, "Ishu.. I'm feeling so scared yaar."


"You're saying as if I'm so relax!!" she snapped.


"I know you'll pass out." Lavanya said.


"No Lovey, my papers weren't good." Ishita said almost crying, when they heard chaos near the notice board.


"Let's go!!" Ishita started shivering, "I haven't the courage."


"Don't panic, let's go." Lavanya dragged her from there.


Ishita and Lavanya pushed the crowd and came near the notice board, they started checking their names from the last, when they reached at the middle of the list, Ishita said, "See... I'm fail. Now how will I show my face to my family." Lavanya ignored her chatter and checked.


"Ishu..." she tapped her shoulder who was disappointingly looking another side, "What happen?"


"See!!"


"Is there anything left to see?" Ishita replied crying.


"There's.. You just checked yaar. We are at top..." Lavanya said excitedly though shockingly.


"What rubbish?" Ishita turned to see and her voice chocked on her throat, "W-H-A-T? But how would possible? Really? I don't believe. Pinch me first."


Lavanya pinched her hard saying, "It's not a dream, it's real. We've topped. Yayy!!" she shouted and hugged Ishita tightly.


Ishita and Lavanya came back to Iyer's place, Ishita excitedly twirled Madhavi in circle, "Ishu.. Kanna what happen? You both are looking so happy."


"Yes. Aunty!! We're... Actually we had topped in the college." Lavanya replied, Madhavi hugged them happily and went to make some desert, whereas Ishita and Lavanya took sit on sofa.


After sometime, the door bell rang, Ishita went to open the door and she found Mihika standing with her mother Soumya. "Chitthi please come." she greeted.


"Arey Soumya.. Please come. Come." Madhavi greeted, Mihika walked and hugged Ishita. They had a chat, when Soumya said, "Akka!! I've fixed Mihika' marriage."


"Really!! Aww.. Mihku!! Congrats." Ishita and Lavanya hugged her happily.


"With whom? I mean.. What's the groom name? What he does?"


"Akka.. He's a Punjabi boy, Mihir." Soumya replied.


"Mihir?" Ishita whispered and looked at Mihika, "Mihku is that the same boy who was studying in your college? Your senior?" she enquired.


"Yes akka." she replied with a blush.


"Awww!! Look at yourself, you're blushing." Ishita teased.


"Stop it akka. Okay!! Listen, you both have to attend the wedding, no excuses." Mihika said with a warning voice.


"Okay baba!! We will." Lavanya said.


At night,


Ishita was sitting with her puppy in the hall when Mr. Iyer came there, "Arey Ishu.. Your amma said you topped in the college. I'm so proud of you Kanna."


"Thank you appa."


"So, what's next? I mean, did you decide anything?"


"No appa. I was just thinking to apply for a job." Ishita replied.


"Hmm!! Even I was checking the newspaper today and I found about a job, you can try there." Mrs. Iyer said.


"Vishwa what are you doing? You should ask her about marriage, in spite of doing this, you're encouraging her for job?" Madhvi said.


"Amma please not again." Ishita replied irritably.


"Ishu.. You take Muttu out for a walk." Mr. Iyer winked at her, Ishita gave him a flying kiss and quickly left out with Muttu.


"Phew!!" she sighed deeply, "You know what Muttu, amma is completely mad. I don't know, why did she hell behind me? But yeah!! Appa, is sweetheart. Isn't? I know he will make her understand." Ishita was talking with the puppy when she saw a ice cream stall outside the apartment.


"Muttu, ice cream..." she said excitedly and bend down, "Muttu, stay here. Don't go anywhere." she tied chain with the railing and walked out.


She was buying the ice cream when she saw a car was coming so harshly, "Doesn't the driver know how to drive?" she thought.


In next moment she saw the driver hit a man and ran away. Ishita went to the man and meanwhile, she note down the car's number, soon people take the man to the hospital, Ishita informed it to her family as she too went to the hospital with them.

Sorry for short update, actually I've some family issues, so now updates will be short. I don't know how long it will continue, but recently I haven't any option. Sorry for this.
