Manik got up and wiped his tears with the back of his hand and went out to see Nandini.
He called her name...searching for her in every corner of the house but she wasn't there.
"Itni raat ko akele kahan chali gayi?" He murmured and rushed towards his room.He picked up his phone and dialed her number .
The phone was ringing right in front of him.
"OMG...she left the phone here only" Manik said picking up her phone.
"Nandini..!"Manik shouted her name once again..! "If you are playing some hide and seek then I am not in a mood..!"He spoke helplessly and walked a little ahead..! When suddenly something on the floor got his attention..!
"BLOOD..!"He freaked out..! The glass he broke few minutes back must have hurt Nandini..! "Crap..! Nandini..!"Manik wailed her name and ran outside following the bloodstained footsteps.

She was crying..! Crying and crying..! But the pain..! The wounds in heart could not be cured..! Heart was bleeding..! Eyes were weeping..! Foot was hurting but not more than the searing pain in her heart

Nandini was walking on the stranded road lifelessly when suddenly Manik halted his car beside her..
"Sit inside..!"He said coldly as soon as he approached her..! She look at him angrily and pushed him away..
"No I won't..!"She shouted..!
"I am not asking you..! I am ordering you..!"Manik too yelled and almost stuffed her in his car 'zabardasti'..
"Let me go Manik..! Haven't you had enough? Tum thak nahi gye larty larty? I am tired Manik..! I have decided I will got back to Paris..! And will never show you my face again..!"She spoke sobbing hard..!
"Shut up..! You will not go anywhere until I clear all my bills and accounts towards you..!"Manik said coldly and Nandini was shocked..! Now what was even left?
"Manik pls lemme go " nandini pleaded "please I can't bear more tortures...pls " she was sobbing incoherently.
"Just shut your mouth or else I know how to shut you up " manik scoffed..
Nandini looked at him in disbelief. Her words had not affected the beast him...not even an ounce of him..

"My tears? They don't effect you Manik? Tumy koi farak nahi parta naa?"She asked gloomily looking at his face and Manik's expressions softened..!
'How would I tell you Nandini that how much your tears hurt me..! I just wish that you never ever cry..! And I will make sure that you always smile..!'Manik thought to himself..
"Manik kuch bolo?"She shouted..! "Tumy koi farak ni parta?"She wanted an answer when suddenly Manik halted the car in front of a Temple..! It was the same temple where manik had married her forcefully a few days back!!
"Will you please keep quiet? Now come with me..!"Manik said hell annoyed and dragged her with him..
"Manik..! Why are you taking me here..! Leave me..! Choro mjy..!"Nandini yelled..! Manik didn't say a word Finally Nandini freed her hand and pushed Manik away with a jerk!
"What do you think of yourself Manik Malhotra? Kya samajhte ho tum apne aap ko? Am warning you Manik..I will not tolerate another nuisance from you ! "She warned and turned around to leave but stopped the very same moment as she felt a pull on her dupatta. She turned back and saw Manik knelt down with his head bent.
"Before you say something and regret later again..! Please listen to me...! I was angry with you..! I was shattered when you denied me..! When you insulted me I felt humiliated..! Myny har bura kaam kiya in your absence..! Booze.!Fag !! I slipped into darkness when you were not with me..! Then you came back and I released all my frustration on you..! I ruined our first kiss..! I hurt you..! I scolded you...! I tried my best to hate you but I failed..! I badly failed Nandu..!" Manik was speaking clutching the edge of her dupatta with his head bent while Nandini was looking at him in disbelief.Her senses didn't want to believe what she was seeing and hearing.Silent tears were rolling down her cheeks all the time.
"I know nandini a sorry is not enough for whatever I did or said but still I AM SORRY..Dil se."He spoke apologetically.
Nandini was dumstruck..!
"Bol liya?"Her cold and straight forward words fell as a bomb on Manik's ears..! He look at her and her eyes were seething anger.
"Nandu I..!"He tried to speak but Nandini showed him her palm.
"Do you have any idea how much I suffered Manik Malhotra?"She spoke sternly and Manik was drowned in the pool of embarrassment. "Kya kya nahin kaha tumne mujhe!!! Why are you so self obsessed? You know how much pain I went through? Manik..! Tumy lagta hai was that easy for me to push you away? I died thousand times Manik..! I died every second but tum ny tou decide kar liya kay tum sahi baki sab galat..!"Nandini too had the right to release her frustration..
"Nandini sachi..! I am sorry..! I am really very sorry..! Hath jodd kay sorry..! Kaan pakar kay sorry..!"Manik spoke gloomily and held his ears..!
Awwee..! He is so cute..! But no..! Itne asaani say nahi..!'Nandini thought to herself . Manik cutely looked at her and she immediately faked a frown on her face.
"My heart and brain were fighting over you and stupid me always let my brain win.Par kehte hai naa ki dil ki baatein dil hi jaane."He continued to speak " I have realised my mistake nandu.I have realised that you are my light..THAT YOU CAN HEAL ME...HEAL US.Will you help me come out of this darkness"He looked up at her and extended his hand.
Nandini looked at him in admiration.Her Manik was back.She could not pretend anymore.She had forgiven him the very moment he had said sorry.She was just faking annoyance.
She placed her hand in his and nodded in affirmation.
She knelt down beside him and cupped his cheeks.
"Together we will fight this darkness.Promise me Manik that now onwards we will forget about our dark past and make some good memories" She spoke between her sobs " We will start afresh Manik...aaj se actually abhi se"
Manik was broken seeing his girl forgive him so easily.Tears were meandering down his cheeks.He stood up and held Nandini by her shoulders making her stand with him.
He leaned forward and kissed her forehead.His lips lingered on her forehead for a few seconds while Nandini closed her eyes .
"Jo maine tumhare saath kiya...uske liye agar main apni har saans ke saath bhi sorry boloon to shayad wo kaafi nahi hoga Nandu..." He spoke looking into her eyes.
Nandini looked at him for a few seconds and then an evil plan stuck her mind.She thought of teasing him .
"What if I reject your apology then?"She said raising her eyebrow and crossed her arms on her chest..
"I will do anything to make it up to you..!"Suddenly Monster Manik turned into a Majnu Manik..! And Nandini's expressions were like 'Ooo..! Like that.!"
"Anything?"She asked coldly she was enjoying his expressions..
"Anything..!"He bobbed his head..
"Soch lo Manik Malhotra..! Think before you speak..!"She finally smiled and he smiled back..! He yanked her closer by her waist and she banged in his chest..
"Nandini Murthy apni life main I have done only a single good deed..!"He said tucking few strands behind her ear and she wrapped her arms around his neck..! After all she has the right..!
"And which good deed is that Mr.Malhotra?"She asked cutely.
"Its falling in LOVE WITH YOU..!"He grinned impishly and Nandini smiled back shyly..! "Waisy tmhy manana is very easy..! Tum tou bohat easily pat gai I thought mjy koi taary wagaira toor kar lany paren gay..!"Wow..! Finally the old Manik was back..! Hence proves..! THE Power of LOVE is way stronger than the HATRED..! He said that all very playfully and Nandini's mouth hung open..
