Akash heard what they said with his mouth wide open but it took little time to sink in. Finally he knelt down on the floor, defeated, tears were flowing down on his cheeks. Kalpi who was angry till now melted a little on seeing his situation and felt bad for him... She finally sat by his side and kept her hand on his shoulder for support...he looked into her eyes and felt guilty for hurting the girl who he loved the most.. Gauri who was sitting their side tried to stop her but she assured Gauri that she will be fine.

"Akash.. I know u can't do all this alone... Tell me, who is with u in all this and I promise u will be free from all this.. I will forgive u for everything and will let u move out of the country with ur mother.. " She said politely.

The mention of his mother, scared him more... He remembered his partner's words... "Dare u take my name in front of anyone and I promise your mother will be dead. I am here for helping u as our motto is same.. U want Kalpi in ur life and I want her out of my life... So if u ever get caught... Just try a way to come out from the situation without taking my name."

"No one...I...I... I was alone..." He stammered while lowering his gaze.. Kalpi can clearly read lie and fear in his eyes.. But before she can utter a word... Raghav shouted.. "So u want us to believe that u r powerful enough to get a private number... Tell the name of another culprit else I swear I will beat the hell out of u... N I promise I won't spare ur partner too." He looked angrily at Pakhi while saying so.

"I am not his partner.. Don't throw accusing glares on me!!" Pakhi hissed and ran towards Gauri and hugged her... "R u fine mom??" She asked. Everyone turned their gaze towards them while Raghav and Samme became alert in case Pakhi tries to hurt Gauri... Akash took benefit of the situation and from nowhere picked a knife and kept it on Kalpi's neck!! "Kalpi..." Raghav shouted... "Leave her else.."!!

"Else what Raghav.. Don't move.. else I will kill her." Akash said in a shivering tone... Kalpi looked at his hands they were shivering too...

"He won't hurt me Raghav... He isn't that bad guy... He is just trying to save himself... Don't worry." Kalpi assured Raghav.

"I... I can Kalpi... U r not important than my mother.. I can kill u for her. Let me go from here and do not ask anything.." He said and dig the knife little deeper.. Blood oozed out from her neck and she winced in pain.. "No..." Raghav said helplessly while clenching his fist in anger.. "U can go... Just don't hurt her. I beg of u.. Please don't hurt her" Kalpi glanced at scared Raghav and a tear escaped from her eye.. The man who never bowed down in front of anyone was begging for her life... She can feel the love he had for her in his eyes... She can see how important she is for her... By nodding her head slowly, She gestured Raghav to not go weak for her... But he helplessly looked at her and signaled cops to keep their arms down and let them go while signaled Sammy to be alert which din't go unnotice by few people. But before they can move... they heard a loud thud.. and saw Akash lying on the floor in the pool of blood... Gauri had pushed him hard and while falling on the ground his head hit the brick of 'hawan kund'. Gauri pulled Kalpi towards her and hugged her tightly with fear while Kalpi was too dumbstruck to say something... "U fine?? R u fine??" She was asking repeatedly "I am fine aunty" She replied, while her gaze fixed at hurt Akash... Gauri too looked at Akash and realized what she did few seconds ago... Unable to respond.. She heard a cop saying.. "He is dead."

"No... No... I can't kill anyone.. I just did it for Kalpi... I just pushed him.. I dint intend to kill him.. Raghav... I dint.. I dint kill him. I am not a murderer. I am a doctor... I saved many lives.. I can't kill.." She cried and took few back steps... Kalpi held her shoulders tightly to support her.. Raghav too approached her. "Ssshh... Shh.. Everything is fine mom... u dint kill him.. That was for defense.. Just calm down!!"

"But Raghav... Cops... They will... Now I will be punished and I should be... I killed him... unintentionally but I did... Tell them to take me to the jail.." Gauri cried more.

"Mom... Just calm down for my sake... N u r not going anywhere!! I will talk to the cops.. " He said and continued.. "Kalpi... please take care of mom... I will sort it out." Kalpi nodded and took Gauri towards a shaded chair... She made Gauri sit on the chair and wiped her tears with her(Kalpi) saree, She took few steps, when Gauri held Kalpi's hand tightly... Kalpi kept her another hand on her and assured her that she is with her and will be back in a minute.. Gauri shook her head, Kalpi sat down by her side and hugged her tightly... "Trust me... I am not going anywhere... I will be back in a minute!!" Kalpi whispered in her ears... The warmth in her words made Gauri trust her and let her go...

Kalpi returned in a minute with a glass of water in her hand which she asked from Pandit. She made Gauri drink water while Gauri was crying constantly.. "Do u love me??" She asked Gauri... Gauri was stunned at her question but nodded and scarred her cheek lovingly.. "Than forget all that happen.. Don't think that u killed Akash... But remember u saved my life... U saved ur daughter's life." She said while holding Gauri's hand and wiped her tears once again... Gauri nodded with a sad smile and kept her head on Kalpi's shoulder while Kalpi put her arms around her to protect her.

After few minutes, Gauri finally calmed down and accepted the situation, Kalpi was still sitting by her side... Gauri looked at her and touched her wound. "R u fine?? It still blooding. Let me dress it."

"I am fine aunty.. Don't worry." Kalpi responded but Gauri got up and picked some soil from the tulsi pot.. She added some more water in it and applied it on Kalpi's neck... "Right now it will stop ur blooding...But I will do proper dressing after reaching home."

"Thank u aunty".

"From when I became ur aunty?? Wasn't I ur Tai?? The same Tai with whom u shared everything.. Did u forget the relation we shared?? U r still my daughter Kalpi... I know I committed lots of mistake in the pas..I am the reason for all ur sufferings but can't we forget all that and start once again.."

Too overwhelmed to respond.. Kalpi hugged Gauri once again and this time let her tears flow... Both of them crying but this time tears were of the joy..

"Tai... " Kalpi said lovingly and smiled!! Gauri once again caressed her cheeks while Kalpi kept her head in the lap and laid down!! Gauri patted her head lovingly... Kalpi remembered Kamla and realized that it's the same motherly love she used to feel in Kamla's lap.. "Ayi" She murmured!!

"Soon I will become ur ayi too..." Gauri said lovingly and Kalpi blushed.

A smile appeared on the face of Raghav who was watching all this from the corner of the eye.. Just after facing a difficult situation the lovely ladies of her life was supporting each other and spreading love... "I wish Khushi was here.." Raghav said unknowingly which dint go unheard by Sammy... "One day ur family will be complete with all three of them by ur side and Pakhi out of ur life." He said while patting his friend's back.. Raghav smiled back half heartedly.

"Now let's join them...Inspector has agreed to show it as accident only without taking Gauri aunty's name and they will try to track Akash's partner too." Sammy said and pulled his frn towards Gauri and Kalpi. Pakhi too followed them.

"Let's go home." Raghav said.. Kalpi and Gauri immediately stood up and all of them walked to the car.. Raghav opened the back door of car for Gauri and Kalpi.. As Sammy was about to take the passenger seat.. Pakhi ran and sat on it... "It's a wife's right Sammy." She said. Sammy nodded and moved back... "Pakhi.." Raghav took her name angrily when Kalpi held his hand and gestured her not to say anything in anger.. Raghav agreed but politely said.. "But who will bring ur car than??"

"I will tell the driver to pick it...I know Raghav.. u hate me and u think I am Akash's partner but I love mom as much as u do... N I am innocent... And right now, I am doing it for Khushi... Just now she had understood the meaning of family... She had found her dad!! I don't want her to lose it... I dnt want Khushi to feel that her parent's relationship is not normal... I want her to feel that we are together and for her I will fight. I am doing this for my daughter.. For our daughter."

Raghav controlled his anger and hit his fist on the car... Kalpi closed her eyes and laid her head on the seat... She is too tired to react or think about anything.

"It's fine Raghav... I will bring her car. U go ahead." Sammy said... "Just one more day Pakhi... Tomorrow I will have the dna report and ur Khushi excuse won't work." He thought and took car keys from Pakhi. Raghav without another word sat at the driver seat and the drive to the home was silent.. Pakhi was as usual smirking but no one noticed her.
