Brought in the fourth and used in the third,

They were introduced to us in GOF and Hagrid kept one in the 3rd stage of triwizard tournament in the maze.

my creators helped me repel and propel forward.

Hagrid had in fact cross-bred manticores (they have shiny armors that repel any charms) and firecrabs (they had jewel encrusted shells and blasted fire from there ends)

Although the flower disapproved,

Lavender Brown was disgusted by the looks of them.

media mentioned me maybe slightly a way ungroomed.

Rita skeeter did mention them in the Prophet when she interviewed Hagrid and said such new breeds are to be under the ministry's watch and supervision.

Watch out you might unusually pet me,

Hagrid wanted the students to raise them as their project and they even walked them when they were six feet long.

i stink and u may burn if u don't see.

they gave off the smell of rotten fish and of course blasted fire.
