Namaste Jigsji :)

Papa, Mumma ... how sweet a sound to the ears yearning to be called that. And how agonizing a journey it has been to get there. For all three of them. The depth of fear Aneri carried in herself relating to those two terms was painful to read. Words which should mean love and care and security for a little child, were associated with loss and grief for Aneri. And what a beautiful way to assuage her. Entwining Pari and Sofia with her Amma Bauji. For this caring, considerate child this is reason enough. This desire to help someone else who needs what is hers ... she possesses such a pure, giving heart.

Happy Happy Happy Anniversary to Aneri's Mumma and Papa! A decade of togetherness. So many highs, so many lows. The agonies of plumbing the depths, the ecstasies of riding the crests. A reminder that a marriage needs to be worked at constantly. And when love, passion, care, respect underpin it, most problems are surmountable.

"Soon, Bambina, very soon." His soft tone filled with promise was enough for her to smile in agreement. Arnav placed a kiss on his daughter's head, before caressing her hair.

There is something about this that makes me really emotional. The simple faith Aneri has in her father's words a testament to the distance travelled by her. The tenderness in Arnav is heart melting to see. As is the profound patience he has with her. How, when explaining time differences to her, he pauses waiting for a few seconds to allow her to absorb it.

I loved her chat with her Chachu. Just so cute! The whole aloo conversation was hilarious. I can just see her being totally indulged by both him and her Lavu masi. Aman's contentment at seeing his friend happy, and then later his helplessness at seeing the vulnerability on his friend's face when he sees his wife and daughter on the monitor, once again brings home what true friends are all about.

The thoughts swirling in her as she heard her Papa and Chachu talk, were unbearable Jigs. But to read of her silent determination just made me so so so proud of her. Just as I am of you for giving us this moving, heart wrenching account of her nightmare. You made me go through the wringer with them as they slowly healed. Kudos to you my love. 👏

Hello Jigs,

I have been sitting here staring at my screen and keyboard for the past five minutes... Just trying to organize my words so they can convey my thoughts coherently... Once again this update was sprinkled with gems...

Someone said... And I paraphrase poorly that Spring, for all its beauty, is the cruelest of seasons... Because it rips open the scars of autumn to give new leaves a chance at life... For all its sadness... That moment where Ari breaks down and reveals her fears is the most beautiful in this story because This Moment gives them the chance of being a true family... She finally let them in... And Khushi found the words to allay her fears... I would not have thought that the right words would share the loss of their Pari... But in that moment they were perfect... As they provided another thread, another bond to link them, to unify them. They also answered her question, in the simplest way possible, 'Why her parents?'... Her parents were the best parents in the world, for her... And thus she can understand why they would be chosen to look after Pari... And she has not been left alone... She has been given A and K as her own... And she reached out and claimed them just as they claimed her... Ab kiya boloon?

Loved how she stopped addressing them as Ocean Uncle and Princess Aunty, way before she said Mumma and Papa out loud... They were not her aunt and uncle anymore... She just needed the courage to declare how she felt... How beautiful you have made this child! Loved how she stood between Arnav's knees to speak to Aman... Loved how she made faces at the screen and how they joined her to egg her on... Haven't we all done that for a loved child... Loved how loved she is...

The beginning quote was so appropriate...Winnie the Pooh? But however many layers of love she might have... And you have given Ari so many, to protect her against being alone ever again... The core group will always be the three of them... So I wish them happiness. Hamesha!

I do have to say that A and K are very lucky to have been able to recreate their wedding night... I kept expecting them to be interrupted by Ari... Welcome to the joys of parenthood...

Oh and that story of the night before their wedding when a drunk Arnav comes to see Khushi because he absolutely has to declare his love... Priceless!

Loved it Jigs... You have done justice to each character... Each situation. Loved it!

...Love is all you need ...

Jigs I always have been in utter awe of your writing ... But today you took it to another level ...The power to engage your readers - hats off to you ...

Our favorite couple have accomplished major strides in their relationship ..I loved their private celebration of their marriage - they took time to reflect appreciate and romance each other .!!

The magic of Internet has allowed Aneri to meet her family and get to know them.. Allowing for no awkwardness when she comes to the USA..

Thankful that she did not live during the Irish potato famine !! But even then I'm sure Aman Chacha would have come to her rescue ...

A fear of abandonment has deprived this child of saying what her heart so desperately wants to .. Mommy and Papa... You delved into the heart of parents and the mind of a child to give us this understanding this insight.. how many amongst us as parents have not been at a loss when we cannot understand what bothers our children so much.. . ..to catch each tear as pearls

Aneri was scared as anyone that ever said to her they would be there for her left her ... Finally that fear consumed her mind and surfaced as her worst nightmare.

Courage was admirable in both of Arnavs girls .. They both healed wounds with each others loss ... I hope the stars will continue to provide solace to them all...

And yes Arnav was right she said Papa first ..even though it may not have been the way he wanted it to be spoken.. It's time for this family to go home now

Happy wedding anniversary Mr & Mrs Raizada.

"Ten Years", decade of togetherness, bittersweet memories, fights, makeups, promises, apologies, forgiveness and everlasting love.

Aneri interaction with Aman Chachu is very heartwarming. Aneri's fondness for aloo parata is always fun to read.

It is heart wrenching to watch your kid going through nightmares and not able to do anything to stop them but just to wait for time and love to solve it.

Finally, Aneri called ocean uncle as papa and shared her deepest secret and fear of losing him and mama.

Jigs, you aced in portraying one of the most emotional chapter of Revealed story 👏👏

Here I am. :)
------------------------------
One of your many strengths is making an ordinary moment extraordinary. And in my very humble opinion it is these very ordinary moments that tell the story, so ... a good story teller is one who is able to unfold the ordinary and bring it out into light.

The ease with which these Raizadas have assumed their role as a parent is the ordinary and it has prepared them to the extraordinary - to help their little Aneri to fight her battles with grief, loss, abandonment and fear.

It is these ordinary moments of being there, checking and answering with a mundaneness that reinforces the security of thought and feeling - another day will come, and her parents will be around.

That you so effortlessly bring these to fore in this update is what is marveling, compelling and quite extraordinary.

If there is one thing I have learnt about being a parent is that nothing gets through to your child like honesty. Honesty is so intertwined with integrity and that is something I believe children are born with - an ability to identify it.

And in this case, it is that honesty that helped the parents reach this child - honesty about life, honesty about loss and that shared grief... for all that they have lost. And this is what makes this family extraordinary.

It was well written and that was that. :) ❤️

👏 firstly a big hug and applauds to you for writing that amazing amazing part...!!!!
M drained out by all the crying I did...
It felt so much real you know...
All the pain...The fear to lose the dear one...
It juz got me connected to this on a very very emotional level...!!
I knew that Arnav and khushi one day will reveal about PARI to Ari... but that scene where Arnav shows her the starts... taking about all the angels they lost... making Ari come out of the demons scaring her... answering her queries...making her understand...and Ari calling them Papa and mumma finally... This will always be cherished and remembered by me...
The most tough important and a life changing part for our little Aneri this was...
I jus pray with this demons leaving her...may she aways keep smiling and be with her mom and papa and binny and bal gopal...!!!!
This update will be a beautiful memory to me always...!!

My Res! Will be back!

Jigs meri jaan ❤️

I am in urgent need of flying down to NY and giving you a real-time hug for this precious chapter. Scintillating in its beauty. Wow. For a change I am so absolutely speechless. Okay, let's start at the very beginning, as Maria Von Trapp famously said in The Sound of Music...Thank you for starting with my all time favourite quote from Winnie The Pooh...ah ha...👏

Amazing chemistry and soul connection between Arnav and Khushi as they bring in their 10th anniversary...loved the beautiful scenes of bonding between Aneri and Aman across screens and time zones...their entire conversation was simply so natural, I need to raise a hat to you for that one! Khushi's anxiety about their daughter, Arnav's grappling work on all fronts to be there for his family...wow what a change from the Arnav we met only a year ago, who was apologetic to his family, meaning Khushi at that time, because he could not get away from work. Now he multitasks, priorities, and is there for his family.

The nightmare scene and Aneri's breakdown starting from the moment Arnav slams the laptop screen down midway through his conversation with Aman...oof...melancholy and anxiety and fear...all those emotions competing hysterically for primacy there...there are some moments in life when it becomes crystal clear how to proceed even when we are lost in a labyrinth of emotions and circumstances...this was Khushi's moment when she realized how she was going to breakthrough and reach Aneri. she did...amazing...beautiful explanation to give a little baby, and implicitly accepted by Aneri...fantastic...take a bow right there, my friend. Not an easy one that. Hopefully it will mark a closure to the terrible nightmares for the poor baby and her parents.

Arnav won the bet...I knew you like me would not be able to resist that one Jigs, our loyalties are firmly with the Raizada...she called him Papa first...even while she was waking up from that terrible nightmare...and my heart soared...reminded me of how Arnav shouted for his ma in the show, I tell you.

I cannot wait for them to head back to their home and continue to bond with Aman, Lavanya and their friends...and settle Aneri into her new surroundings. I do realize though that she needs to break from her cycle of sadness for that...hopefully Pari, Amma and Bauji will now be safely confined to the past where they belong, except when they make up a part of happy memories!

Simply lovely, meri jaan, God bless! ❤️
