I also agree that this jodi is a bit underrated.
I believe they have been consistent in the competition.
Their progress has been sure and steady.
I also feel sometimes, the judges take it for granted that Alexx is a foreigner. It's definitely commendable to see him embrace the dances and culture as well as he does. I loved their performance this week. It was very entertaining and deserving of a higher score.

i argree with lilroses taht teh jodi is unrated as both alex and shweta are gd dancers. But i guess alex didnt do teh shimmy in teh dance as he wasnt confident in it as its more of a desi move and not being desi he didnt want to embasses himself as even when vaibhai asked him to do it he didnt want to

From the very first episode, I have liked both of them. Specially Alex, who is " gora " and he does so good dancing even though he cannot even speak hindi.

well for me i think alexx is tooo good for shweta and for dancing sence i think they will try more hard coz they r not so good in dancing as compare to other jodies

Megha, you say that dance knows no language, but in the end, its not about that, try coming to the states and square dancing, and I doubt you'll be able to do it with ease. Dance has alot to do with culture, and south asian culture has an immensely different scope when compared to western,therefore one should set plausible expectations.
It's not about that, every couple on that show fumbles up somehow, so why not Alex? Just because he is non-Indian does not give anyone the right to over analyze the situation.
So stop being bias, and letting it mar your judgment.
