One of two left behind,

Godric Gryffindor left two items at hogwarts the hat and the sword

there is more in me to find.

The sorting hat helped Harry and Neville by presenting the sword

Though i may not seem fit,

i see every little bit.

it lookes old and rugged but examines every student and sorts them into their houses.

First was most essential,

The trio was sorted by the hat into gryffindor.

second was related but last was equally crucial.

Harry questioned the hat in COS and he was also presented the hat in the chamber and Neville drew the sword from the hat to slay Nagini who was the final horcrux.

Answer: THE SORTING HAT!!!!

Cj that was an awesome riddle , but then again when are your riddles 'not' awesome .. 😆 ..

Avie , congrats on cracking this tough nut ! .. .. that was a good guess .. if I remember correctly , your very first debut riddle too was "sorting hat" & when we asked for a clue ( whether a thing or a being ) , you too were confused as to whether it was a thing or a being & I cracked the riddle .. 😳 .. damn it , how did I miss the clue this time .. 😆

Okay so i have been working on this all day and i'm really excited posting it😃 so here goes:

Brought in the fourth and used in the third,

my creators helped me repel and propel forward.

Although the flower disapproved,

media mentioned me maybe slightly a way ungroomed.

Watch out you might unusually pet me,

i stink and u may burn if u don't see.

Hmm , what did Lily or Rose disapprove of ? .. <= and that's assuming flower = Lily or Rose

There could be many things & I can't even think of one .. 😆

I 'll get back once I have something available in my "guessing ki dukaan " coz at the moment there is no stock in the shop & even the inventory is empty .. 😕 😆

Firecrabs or Firetail ( not sure of the name of the creature ) , Hagrid used it in his teaching class ( in third book ) & the students got burn marks after they were done with Hagrid's teaching session ..

Rita Skeeter may have mentioned such creatures in her article about Hagrid .. my potter world memories are a bit foggy at the moment .. 😆
