This is my first post on this forum. I only recently started watching Ganga and loved it and just when I started, I heard about leads growing up. I think the casting directors have chosen great actors portray the 2 characters. I loved Aditi Sharma in both Mausam and Ladies vs. Ricky Bahl. I think she was in an episode of Teri Meri Love Stories on Star Plus with Karan Grover and I liked her there too. As for Vishal, I absolutely loved what he did with Baldev's character. He portrayed every shade really nicely. I had seen him in his earlier show and was surprised at the complete makeover. It'll be interesting to see how he'll further Sagar's role.
Anyway, coming to the point, how do you guys think the love track is gonna proceed? I haven't seen today's epi but from what I read (written update), it seems like Ganga has accepted her love for him although not sure if she thinks in the grown up way or childhood love. So with that, how do you think the love track is gonna proceed? Will Sagar also be pining away like Devdas types (not that he'll become a snob but you know that kind of love and longing)? or will it go more along the way of Sagar still being attached to her but only as a best friend and he would forget abt the sindoor incident or not take it seriously. If anybody has seen Tere Liye, then I'm talking in that regard where he still loves her but only as a best friend. Of course, it changes later on but do you think the writers will do that route? Also, how will her being a widow come to play? I really hope the writers go the way of him also pining for her but for some reason, looking at the promo and what the narrator say that Ganga is waiting for Sagar and will Sagar understand the love (or something to that effect), I have a feeling he'll only view her as a best friend.
What do you guys think? (Sorry about the rant!! Once I started, couldn't seem to stop 😉)
