Vishal Vashishtha, who is popular for his role as Baldev from Veera is back on the small screen. This time he will play Sagar in Ganga. Talking about his character, Vishal says, "Veera had a lot of romance; here it is subtle. The roles are starkly different."
The actor took a break after his first show, Veera ended. It was soon after his vacation ended that he was called to audition for Ganga. He recalls, "I was on a two and half month break " I visited Ladakh and also made a trip to my hometown, Kolkata. Meanwhile, the production house got in touch. I auditioned after returning from my vacation. Although I didn't watch the show, my parents watch it and from what they told me, it sounded fascinating."
Fans loved his chemistry with Digangana Suryavanshi in Veera, so did he catch up on Bigg Boss where she was a contestant? He says, "I've never followed Bigg Boss but this time I did see the opening episode and watched her entry in the house."

P.S. I love that its going to be a more mature and subtle romance between Sagar & Gangaa
This is the change I wanted after watching Veera & Baldev literally killing each other like everyday 😆
