Siddharth looked at the audience that had come to see him and then at the lyrics kept in front of him. He suddenly felt happy knowing this is his last performance. He started singing infusing the right amount of emotions.

The next words made him nostalgic. He couldn't stop the tears from slipping out and then tugged at them ,he had promised her he won't cry. An instant smile spread on his face knowing he was making her proud.

He knew his lyricist,his lovely wife was one heck of a writer but these lines were making it difficult for him. He remembered how she used to write all the songs he was to perform and didn't give it to him till the time he actually went to sing them as she had done for this song too.!

He skipped off to the next words and a smile adored his face as he was taken back in the memories of that day.
"Siddharth ,see it's raining. " she exclaimed spreading her arms like a peacock and he admired her dancing and jumping ,completely enjoying herself.
The next moment the rain had stopped and a frown came up on her face. He didn't like her angry or gloomy so he thought to cheer her up but God himself didn't want to disappoint his favourite angel.

She started shouting in ecstasy ,"Look baby ,it's a rainbow." and he thanked God for making her so happy. He always wanted her to be cheerful and content whether it was because of him or not because of him.

He was brought back to reality as the crowd started clapping roaringly for his performance. He was shedding tears but he didn't stop them now. He didn't want to ,he could break her promise for once ,afterall he was going to meet her ,he would apologize.!

He went to the same place where they had last met and waited patiently for her. He sat beside her as she beckoned him to come close. She was still the same ,her beautiful self.
He caressed her lovingly and felt proud to have her as his forever. He went to the valley and shouted loud ,"I love you Roshni."
The voice came back to him as he closed his eyes ,he always heard her speaking ,"I love you Siddharth."

He knelt down across her and spoke ,"I am sorry baby ,I am breaking your promise but I want to feel you close to me. I am coming to you Mrs. Khurrana!"

He carefully stepped to the end of the cliff and remembered what she had spoken on her last day.
"Siddharth ,this is the song you would sing on your last concert and don't you dare open it before that day!" she had warned him in her tigress voice inspite of her illness.

He glanced once, back at her grave and knew he would meet her again ,once he jumped from this cliff. This was the distance separating them and after waiting so many years ,after fulfilling her promise to live for her , he finally knew he could break the promise now; as she had consented him to do so...
