Karan Mehra aka Naitik from one of India's longest running television shows, 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' was visibly happier while shooting recently, the reason being that he got to shoot underwater, for the very first time.
The sequence revolved around Karan Mehra searching for his on-screen wife Hina Khan aka Akshara where he dives into a lake to find and rescue the love of his reel life. Karan admits that it was a memorable experience shooting the sequence, "In spite of facing a few hurdles like the water being dirty and its temperature fluctuating, we did manage to get the shots we wanted. It is rare to have underwater shoots for a daily soap in India and also, it is the first time that we have shot underwater in the 7 years long journey of YRKKH so I was really looking forward to shoot this sequence."
