Post leap, Sonal Vengurlekar to play the lead in Yeh Vaada Raha

This is television industry and things change overnight!!!

Couple of days back, we wrote about Zee TV's Yeh Vaada Raha (Trishula Productions) taking a generation leap soon. Post which, the makers had roped in newbie Shanice Shrestha as the replacement of Roshni Walia.

Roshni, didn't wish to play a mature role at this age, and thus opted out of the show.

But now, we have learnt that the makers have finalized Shastri Sister's Sonal Vengurlekar as the lead; after the deal fell out with Shanice.

The charming young actress will be seen portraying the role of Survi opposite Kartik (Ankush Arora). Post the leap, Survi will be shown to be an extremely mature girl, who would be hiding her feelings for Kartik, as she would be under cover with a new identity.

When we buzzed Sonal, she shared, "Yes, I have been approached, but nothing is finalized yet."

We have also got to know that the actress has already shot for the promos and it will air this weekend.

The story jump will take place by next week.
