The episode begins with Swara making a promise to Durga Prasad that she will bring Laksh back for the sake of Annapurna. On the either side, Sanskaar goes to meet Laksh at the police station where he informs him that Annapurna unfortunately got a heart attack because of what happened. Laksh then begins to feel guilty for the deed he did and says he has created such a mess. Sanskaar says to him that now he has realised his mistake, he hopes to get his old brother back.
Swara rushes to Dadi and request her to tell Ragini to take the complaint she made back but Dadi totally refuses. Swara rushes towards Ragini and tells her that Annapurna's health is getting worse. Ragini too refuses to oblige saying that she has made a promise to her grandmother. Dadi says that she will stand by her words and says to stop all the commotion. She says that she cannot stand the Maheshwari family now. Swara says that Laksh went to prison because of them. Dadi tells Swara that it was her idea to catch Laksh red handed and says that he(Laksh) should be imprisoned for at least 7-8 years. Swara is sad recalling the promise to Durga Prasad.
Sanskaar just than calls Swara and informs her that Annapurna's health has deteriorated again and says that they have called the doctor again. Sanskaar says he is scared but Swara asks him to calm down and take care and tells him that she is coming back. As she disconnects the call, she folds her hand in front of Ragini and Dadi and request them to come. They finally oblige and head over to Annapurna. Dadi tells Durga Prasad that Annapurna's health is getting worse that is why he made all the arrangements. Durga Prasad here just looks on (He really looked beaten).
Durga Prasad heads out after Ragini and Dadi and folds his hand in front of them and request them to take the complaint back. Dadi backlashes at him saying that Durga Prasad only cares about "his pain" and not other people's feeling and what they had to go through. Shekhar taking Durga Prasad's side says that he has always done fair play among everyone and assures that Ragini will take the complain that she made back. Dadi stops him with his words and says that Ragini won't be doing this. Swara tells her to think of Annapurna's life. Dadi says to Swara that Ragini could have had the accident had Swara not been there and says that she not feel she is doing wrong. Durga Prasad says to her that he does understand her perspective and says that she is not wrong but says Annapurna's life is at stake. Dadi says fine and asks him to pay back for his wife's life. Everyone is almost in shock.
Dadi says that there is a price that one has to pay for life and says that he might not want to see his wife getting punished for something Laksh did. She says that she is Ragini's grand mother and says that she wants to give them a dose of "their own medicine". She says what can he (Durga Prasad) do to save his wife's life? She tells him if she will be able to promise to save the marriage of her grand daughter? She says can he promise that Ragini will get all the right that she deserves as a daughter in law of the house. Dadi tells him to promise that he has to protect Ragini and that no harm must come towards her, that no one insults or taunt her...Durga Prasad gives in to all her promises. Dadi then says will he agree to make Ragini the owner of the house? She says is he ready to give Ragini all the wealth the property? All are taken back and are in shock. Durga Prasad (In a helpless mode) agrees and in one whim declares Ragini the owner of the house..
Sujata asks Durga Prasad to take all the promise back and asks her to take Ragini with her and take money instead in-exchange for Laksh's freedom. Dadi says to Sujata that she is trying to get Ragini out of the house...She further tells Sujata that Durga Prasad cannot back out now. She goes on to threaten Sujata telling her that she will reveal Uttara's involvement too and she will head to prison which means that no one will marry her...and asks her to keep silent. Durga Prasad (who has turned into a helpless guy) falls into every whim and gives Ragini the key saying that no one will now say a word to Ragini. Dadi says that she needs written proof stating all this.
Precap:
Ragini is shown saying she will now rule over Maheshwari house and says that she will decide her faith. Later Annapurna is walking with a glass of milk when she bumps on Ragini, dropping few drops on her Saree. Ragini gets annoyed and asks Annapurna to clean it up. As Annapurna is about to do so, Swara asks her to stop all this. Ragini in the room is shown giving a slap to Laksh...
