I'm still so overwhelmed by the episode that I don't think I can think rationally for a while. But I'll try to answer those questions to the best of my understanding. Oh, that bit where Sam learns those visions were by Lucifer (I feel proud, I was right about the visions coming from Lucifer himself 😎) and sheds a single man tear, my heart broke into pieces. 🥺
- I'm pretty darn sure Rowena hid the consequences of the spell from Sam and Crowley, that the spell will wear off and then Sam might end up in danger. Because a) to screw with Winchesters b) people like her wouldn't want to miss a chance to have a glimpse of someone like Lucifer. WHY do Winchesters and Crowley, for that matter keep trusting her time and again? -.-
- I don't think Sam and Lucifer are in the real Cage. 🤔 I think the spell was to summon Lucifer from the real Cage to this duplicate Cage where he could be helped captive and rendered powerless. The writers probably don't want to address Adam's issue or don't want to bring him in the picture at this stage. He's probably down there in the real Cage with Micheal.
- I don't care one bit about Amara and Dean's kiss. It grossed me out and it still grosses me out when I think of it. 😳 The kind of bond they share seem to include every possible aspect, physical, psychological, sexual and probably more because she was the original Mark bearer and Dean too bore the Mark and happens to be the one who released her. Even if Amara and Dean are "destined" to be together (🤪), we all know that won't happen. She'll be killed for good before any of that happens and Dean-Sam better do that.
- I'm so relieved that Dean tried to resist ths effects of the bond and atleast had a shot at killing Amara. I was beginning to think he'll have no control over himself whatsoever. Sam needs you Dean, go to your brother now.
- I really don't understand how Castiel is not included in such a crucial episode of the season. 😳 Shouldn't he have at least known that Sam's going to meet Lucifer with the help of Crowley and Rowena if not actually being present while it happens. Because HELLO there's a person who knows how to get into cage without letting lucifer out? May be, you'd wanna ask him a thing or two? What excuse is Cas going to give for his absence? That he was busy watching Netflix? I hope he's doing some actual work, like how about helping angels to take down Amara.
- One more thing, I admit. Amara's scary. 😳 She's beginning to be that 'scare the crap outta you' baddie now. I know writers won't bring God into picture because #itscomplicated. But there are other ways to indicate the presence of God without actually having to bring him as a character on the show. For instance, every natural source or creation of God (except humans) can take Amara down. Air, fire, water, earth and every other source of nature can act as God's army. I also know that Amara possess powers of the invincible kind but what if God decides to settle the score for once and for all? I think I'm expecting too much but that was just to suggest how to go about it minus the #itscomplicated. 😆
