hey MT 😊
Just caught up with this story of yours and i have to admit...it was soooo ...sorrowfully sweet... 😕 hahaha do u get what i mean? It ws sad the way things had to happen... but not so sad in the long run. I lvoed bani's resilliance and strength. Her character is admirable, as is Jai's. He did the rigt thing...and that adbhoot...i'm glad he turned out good in the end.

It had the full works yaar, tears, laughter, romance... everything! It was a truly touching story and i'm looking forward to the end of Outsider.

All the best,
Tiff

Pri and Ash;

Thanks for the comments yaar! To be honest, the scene in which Jai realizes Bani's real identitiy was the toughest to write and I had various scenario's thought about it, but finally wrote, what was in my mind at that point in time! Initially, I wanted a violent reaction from Jai, in the sense, that he is completely full of remorse and guilt and then something really shocking happening to him...ending the story on that note! But I realized, with Maayi around, I have no need to be dramatic and I stuck to what I thought would be a more normal, human reaction!

I am not a complicated person by nature and thanfully have known and been surrounded by people who are pretty simple and straightforward too! Hence, when I write, I just reflect what I have known all my life and what I have learnt from the relationships in my life!

I did not put any apologies or remorse in Jai at that moment, because that moment itself was too big for anything else! Where does the need for a sorry or apology come, when love transcends all that?😳

I am really bowled over by the fact that so many of you guys also feel that Jai's reaction to the whole realization was justified and in sync with the story....😊

Aysha;

Thank you very much for the comments! I will be concluding and posting the final chapters of The Outsider very soon!

Harveen, Janu, Lunza, Tia;

Thanks to all of you for writing in! Much appreciated! Glad that you liked this story so much and it managed to acheive what I had hoped it will! Tia, I totally get the comments, sorrowfully sweet...yes, if I may say so, it was both sorrowful and sweet, that way I wanted to make all my readers happy...The ones who like a sorrowful ending and the ones who like a sweet ending!😉

Lots of Love,

MT

hello....finally read the epilogue...

i liked how gradually Bani recovered with the support of Jay who was a friend as well as a companion. that 'Barny'joke was great...the nurse thinking otherwise about Jay initially and finally realising her mistake...was so sweet and natural. with the leaps... Atharva's knowledge in music and Jay's comment on it reflected a happy family that grew up with a strong bond when the boy became young and even had a girlfriend! the way they could feel the love between Jay and Bani was beautifully written... with the final leap, when they didn't take the last journey as a cause of sorrow touched the heart. in a moment like that, they lived their full life again with their undying capacity of being happy and making the other one happy touched the heart. i admit, i cried after reading the musical ending of their first innings or the beginning of their second innings...may be it sounded filmy yet for some it is true...we never know when love takes us to such a ride, it is not predetermined, it just happens...the only fact is that we don't see it in general.. but that doesn't stop one from thinking it to be real... i feel like singing a song for them (please take it another sense.. not the way it is meant in the movie):

Yeh kahan aa gaye hum
Yunhi saath saath chalte
Teri baahon mein hai jaanam
Mere jism-o-jaan pighalte
Yeh kahan aa gaye hum
Yunhi saath saath chalte

last of all a big Thank You for hitting us with this ff and causing the accident...

Aaawww MT, it was awesome. All the parts were simply perfect.👏 👏 👏

The epilogue was so touching, the piano scene and their demise had me in tears, literally.😭 😭 😭 I was in bed reading it and cried out loud. My nani was sleeping next to me, she woke up suddenly and wondered what had happened to me in the middle of the night. My parents are abroad and she thought I was missing them terribly, poor thing, I couldn't even tell her the reason for my tears Following morning I had a lecture on not to miss my parents so much 😳

But yaar, this FF was mind blowing. All emotions perfectly worded. Jai and Bani's reactions when they came to know each other in relation to the accident was way too good. Nothing extraordinary yet not ordinary at all. Too good 👏

Loved each and every part, each and every word of this FF 😃

Rekha,

I don't have words to explain how I feel...
I have tears in my eyes and a smile on my face...

I have read many stories... many of which were penned by you...I have my favorites ... but this is in a league of its own... comparing it to any other would be a crime...

I always felt that Ajnabi was the best among the ones u wrote....but this is the best among any that I ever have read till date...

If I felt JW's confession of the accident was touching...I was fascinated by Bani's side of the story...I can't choose...I'm telling you I can't say that this particular section of the story was the best... What should I awed by...their love or their grief... JW's guilt or Bani's acceptance... This ff like an entity can't be broken into parts...I has to be loved as a whole...

Every character has been beautifully sketched...from the disgusting Nishikant to the affectionate yet strict matron... all play a beautiful part in bring perfect harmony in the story...

JnB complimented each other in every way... Just like a made for each other couple... anyone with such partners in life...well like Bani said..aren't just lucky..but loved😳

Chalo time for me to go n sleep n dream about mine 😳 ..atleast till I find one 😆

If I ever find a story as mesmerizing as this...trust me I will be surprised 😊

Poo

PS: And to think of it ... you did not recommedn this one to me
