Gangaa' comes to shoot in Banaras

Actors Sushmita Mukherjee Bundela, Hiten Tejwani, Aditi Sharma and Vishal Vashishtha were in Varanasi for two days earlier this week to shoot for their TV serial 'Gangaa'. READ: Hiten Tejwani's mustache dilemma.

With them was Ruhana Khanna, the young girl who plays the title role in the serial, and Swar Hingonia, who plays the role of Sagar. The serial has taken a time leap with 'Ganga' and 'Sagar' growing up and their
story being taken forward in the show.Lucknow girl Aditi Sharma, who was also shooting in Banaras with the rest of the cast, is playing the grown up Ganga, while the older Sagar is being
played by Vashishtha. Hiten Tejwani, who's now back in Mumbai spoke to
us on phone and informed us, "Most of the actors from the serial were in Banaras to shoot the leap, including the chhoti Ganga, badi Ganga, chhota Sagar and bada Sagar and also Ammaji. We shot for two days and it
was good to be back in the holy city."
