I just started musing on what is the definition of being a "best friend" in Mr Lakshya Maheshwari's dictionary.
1) Planting a red blanket in the supposed best friend's cupboard, implicating her in a kidnapping plot she knows nothing about.
2) Allow her to be maligned and spoken very insultingly about, by your mother and chachi.
3) Allow her to be taken away for questioning by the police, without lifting a finger to help.
4) When Sanskaar steps in to defend Swara, (as he always does), and strenuously opposes Annapurna and Sujata, tell him "Tu itna defensive kyon ho raha hai".
5) Attempt to sow suspicion and discord between his "best friend", and the only person who is doing anything to support her.
Well, I could go on and on, but with the gist above, I guess with best friends like Mr Lakshya Maheshwari, one doesn't need enemies. 😆
Also, please correct me if I am wrong, but didn't Lakshya follow this chronology as regards the "best friend" tag?
1) After a period of nok jhok, Swara became his "best friend".
2) Then he fell in "love" with Swara, and somehow she made the ultimate folly of agreeing to his proposal. When she started behaving oddly (owing to the drugging), and Lakshya started feeling perturbed about this, Ragini became his "best friend" and confidante.
3) Of course, once Ragini pushed Swara from the bridge and she almost lost her life, Lakshya impulsively married his then "best friend" in his juvenile, impulsive fit of pique. In the succeeding weeks, he kept telling Ragini that she was his "best friend", like a trillion times. 😉
4) After doubting and insulting Swara for weeks, when the truth reveal happened, Ragini became the villain in his life (understandable), but then he designated Swara as his "best friend" again, pronto! Huh? Do relationships swing like a pendulum, that Mr Lakshya feels he can restore them with a swish of a magic wand? Did he, perchance, hold that wire, get shocked, and have short term memory loss?
Anyway, whatever Lakshya feels for Swara now, the not so inconsiderable problem (for him) is, that Swara considers someone else, as her best friend. 😆 Sanskaar, of course. 😳 SwaSan's definition of best friends, is kinda kooky, in a cute way, not in a "Aooowww Gaaawwwd" way, thank the Lord. 😳
These 2 super cute besties 😆, keep KC fasts for each other, she makes rangoli and ties mauli daagas on him, which supposedly is done by a wife for her husband; and he in turn buys her a ravishing ghagra, which is supposed to be done by a husband for his wife. But ah well, maybe they are following the policy of "True Love is finding your soulmate in your Best Friend". ☺️
Anyway, I had read a hilarious definition once, that "Antipathy is the emotion one feels for one's best friend's best friend!!"
No prizes for guessing Mr Lakshya Maheshwari's emotions towards Sanskaar right now. Not surprising that he's not calling him "Bhai" much these days, huh? 😆 Well, that's good in any case, since whenever Lakshya calls him "Bhai", I just KNOW that he wants something to be handed over to him, like a toy or punching bag. 😡
Judging by this pretty strong antipathy on display, I actually have a doubt about the rumored car bomb spoiler which hasn't materialized so far. We heard, that Ragini would plant a bomb in Sanskaar's car, to implicate Lakshya.
But I have a feeling, its going to be the reverse. Lakshya is going to plant the bomb in Sanskaar's car, and try to implicate Ragini, somehow. She doesn't want to give him a divorce anymore, as per the precaps. This would probably be Lakshya's vain attempt to knock off two birds with one bomb 😆, fitting into his plan of forcing his "best friend" back into his life--despite her clearly saying "No." 🤢
Ah well----like I already said, with a friend like this...
