To celebrate success you need success what is the success here? This movie dropped like anything on monday so quickly they plan this event for media to get coverage this is nothing but promotion to make people give this movie a chance at weekdays after seeing no big jump in weekend and big drop on monday.

IF logic :
Any Salman movie that is less than 300 cr is a FLOP and

Any Ranbir movie is a "HIT" if it surpasses Bombay Velvet standards...

So let them celebrate Tamasha HIT while Salman fans will drown their sorrows in 200 + Cr
