Sources say that she has been roped in to play a crucial role in the second season of Anil's international adaptation of the thriller series 24. The actress will be seen as part of Anil's anti-terrorist squad, playing a tough cop. In the first season Mandira Bedi had played a similar role. Sakshi's last fiction show was Bade Acche Laggte Hai and Code Red, a crime-based show that she had hosted.
Another actress who will be returning to TV after a long gap will be Surveen. The actress made her TV debut with Kahin Toh Hoga followed by a couple of more serials and reality shows like Ek Haseena Ek Khiladi before shifting to films. The actress has several Punjabi films to her credit, but it was with her sexy turn in Hate Story 2 that she catapulted to fame. On TV she was last seen in Comedy Circus Ke Superstars that she had hosted five years ago. the actress in an interview had said that she would like to do seasonal fiction shows like 24and Yudh. Her wish has been granted and the actress who worked with Anil in Welcome Back has been cast in the second season.
