For me Sonam..!! She looks convincing in all her films and does justice.Though her dialogue delivery is still average i find her far better than Deepika. Its just that Deeps made right decisions and got good movies..!! Even she had series of flops in beginning till Cocktail,.!! But her montonous expression and mechanically reharsed acting is cringeworthy..!!

Sonam needs to work hard on herself. She has potential and i have high hopes from Neerja which might change her Career..!!

I like watching Deepika onscreen over Sonam esp now since Deepika is becoming a better actor than she use to be. That said..Deepika still has work to do when it comes to acting..didn't like her in Tamasha trailer or BM trailer. I understand they are only trailers so let's see.

I don't think it's that ridiculous to compare these two. While Sonam needs a lot more work on her acting than Deepika..I don't think she is that far behind from Deepika. She's just not as passionate and hard working IMO. For example..I really liked Sonam acting in Khoobsurat and Aisha and even Rhanjanana (sp?)

And all that said..I prefer Deepika over Sonam in commercial films. And I guess as an actor I prefer Deepika overall. So yes Deepika is the better actor.

Deepika the actress, watching her movies like Piku is amazing.

I don't watch sonam's movies but I like her off screen especially her fashion sense

so ON screen and movies Deepika...the actress

Exactly. I think the biggest thing she needs to work on is the way she delivers her lines. In the Tamasha trailer as well..when she gives that gali line (cursing)..that was such a bad way to deliver it. I was like W*F is she doing? She looks so uncomfortable and rehearsed. That wasn't natural acting at all. It was just bad. It completely took away from her whole perf in the trailer because I actually liked her in the end bit when she was emotional.

Actually to begin with Sonam wasnt so bad in Sawariya, she looked very pretty and did her job well, also in Delhi 6 she wasnt so bad. But shes becoming worse with every film, while DP is excelling with every film.

Watched Khubsoorat recently, couldnt believe anyone can act so badly in a tailor made role like that!

After CE, Piku, YJHD, there is no comparison between the 2, DP has moved far ahead in terms of performance, screen presence, BO success!
