Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon

For the last few days, a section of the media has been in a tizzy about Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon being cast for a particular film.

As it happens, there is no truth to the young pair being in that film because another filmmaker has signed on these two to make his own debut exclusive. Yes, Dinesh Vijan, Saif Ali Khan's erstwhile partner in production, will direct SSR and Kriti in his first project that goes on the floor in 2016.

Finding Fanny was directed by Homi Adajania and produced by Dinesh Vijan. The roles have now been reversed and Dinesh will soon be directing his first film, which will be produced by Homi and star Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon.

The first look of the actors was released for the media on November 24, and both Homi and Dinesh were excited with the prospect. (Also Read: Sushant Singh Rajput Reveals 'Elaborate' Wedding Plan For Next Year)

"It's a film about love, dreams and destiny. I wanted to capture a certain level of chemistry in the look test and thanks to our stylist Anaita Shroff Adajania, I'm very happy with the result," said Dinesh in a statement.

Homi too was excited with the result. "They share a fantastic chemistry and the story is highly entertaining," he said.

The film is yet untitled and will be released in 2016.

Wow they are looking good together in that pic!

So Sushant has Dhoni biopic, this Dinesh Vijan love story (which finally has a heroine and seems to be moving ahead) and Half Girlfriend. Fingers crossed all of them turn out well!

this is what Mohit Suri had to say about that

"Yes, Kriti is keen on doing the film, she was present for the book launch and she has also read the book a year ago," said Mohit, further adding, "But there has been certain date issues that I have to sort out and I also have other commitments like Aashiqui 3."

So she hasn't been officially signed yet...hope she doesn't now that they are doing this film together... but i guess we'll just have to see...
