SidNi OS candy floss
Raghu was sitting at the same place where Siddharth had got Roshni candy floss for the first time. He was staring at the sea ahead with a frown on his face.
"Hi ,lonely stranger." a girl came wearing a burkha. He scanned her from top to bottom and turned back to stare at the sea.
"English nahi aati?" (Don't know English?) she questioned while Raghu passed an angry glare to her. She sat beside him while he shifted in his place uncomfortably.
"I know better English than anyone madam!" Raghu replied and she gestured an awesome with her hands.
"So why so serious?" she asked while he decided to discuss his woes with this strange girl. He didn't know why but he wanted to share all with her.
"I.." he started but then stopped himself. He hesitated while she kept a comforting hand on his shoulders asking him to confide in her.
He nodded and started ,"It's my birthday today and I am very unhappy." he finished in a single sentence and looked around.
The girl had disappeared all of a sudden but the next moment he felt a pair of hands on his face. He tried to remove them but the girl didn't let him.
"Wish for something you love." she whispered in his ears and a shiver ran down his spine. He whispered a name and a smile spread on his face.
"So you love her?" asked the girl coming back to sit across him. He nodded and she smiled and held his hands while he got startled by her reaction.
"So you want to celebrate your birthday with her?" she asked and he got up leaving her hands from his own feeling empty at once.
"Yes but I can't ,I don't want her to be in anymore problems because of me." he contemplated staring at nothing in particular.
"But love everytime overpowers every evil. Go and share it with her and I am sure you both will together win over it." the girl advised.
But he shook his head in denial and said ,"No we failed once ,now we can't fail again. It's better if she doesn't know."
"You are running away from your happiness my friend." she told him and patting him went away. He got thinking about what she said.
"I'll tell you right now Roshni that I am Siddharth not raghu!" he said out loud with a smile on his face while the woman in the burkha smiled and went away.
"Roshni." he came shouting in when Roshni came and shushed him by keeping a hand on his mouth. He kept staring at her.
"I love you!" It escaped his mouth without his own knowledge and she stared at him in shock. She slapped him hard on his cheeks.
"How dare you? You are just acting like Siddharth ,you aren't Siddharth." she kept going on in anger while he stood clutching his cheek.
After she had shouted alot ,he held her hand and pinned her to the wall. They stared in each other's eye with intensity and passion.
"Roshni hum Raghu nahi Siddharth hain!"(Roshni I am not Raghu ,I am Siddharth.) he replied on Raghu's language.
"Uhh kya ho gaya hai? Pagal ho chuka hun main raghu ki bhasha bolte bolte." he held his head in frustration.
(Uhh what has happened? I have gone mad speaking this Raghu's language.)
"Tum Raghu ki language bol rahe ho kyunki tum Raghu hi ho." she replied while he thought how this was all going against him.
(You are speaking in Raghu's language coz you are Raghu.)
"Kaise prove karun ki I am siddharth?" he asked in a vulnerable tone while she got in thinking mode for a while.
(How do I prove I am Siddharth?)
"I'll take your test. Mera matlab main tumhara...,test Ko hindi main kya kehte hain?" she got thinking finding the word.
(I mean I'll take your.. ,what do you call test in Hindi?)
"Imtehaan." he said and she nodded. "Theek hai pucho." he replied confidently. (Okay ask)
"Siddharth ne mujhe kitni baar girne se bachaya hai?" she asked while he held a stumped face.
(How many times has Siddharth saved me from falling?)
"Ye kya question hai? Mujhe nahi pta!" he said giving up after thinking for a while.
(What kind of a question is this? I don't know)
"Loser.!" she said while he counter-questioned ,"Tum hi bta do answer."
(You only tell the answer.)
She said proudly ,"Bahut baar obviously." she replied and he hit his head in frustration and irritation. She smirked and went on to the next one.
(Many times obviously)
"Okay next. Tumne ne kitni baar mujhe kiss di hai?" she asked and he smiled as he knew the answer.
(How many times have you kissed me?)
He went closer and answered ,"Bahut baar." (Many times)She started laughing hard and replied ,"Galat."
(Wrong)
He scratched his head thinking how many times he had kissed her when she said ,"You never kissed me ,my Siddharth did." she winked at him while he had his head in his hands.
"Mera Birthday isse bekar nahi ho sakta tha." he replied dejectedly and started going away when her voice stopped him.
(My birthday can't be worse than this)
"Ye lo." she said and he turned around. "Candy floss ,mera pati kehta hai meetha khane se mann mein bure khayal nahi aate."
(Take this, candy floss my husband says eating something sweet you don't get bad thoughts in your mind)
He looked on confused while she came closer and kept a hand on his shoulders. She stared in his eyes and he knew she knew.
"So Mr. Siddharth Khurrana lied to me?" she asked and he hung his head down. She hugged him and started wailing like a child.
He felt so guilty for her pain ,her worries ,her inner turmoils but she hugged onto him. She was just happy he was back.
"You don't have to be sorry Siddharth. You know I was punished just like I punished you." she replied and he again had a confused expression.
"Ya I had to live 6 months without you just like you had to." she said reminding him of the 6 months when she was in Bangkok.
"But that time I knew you were alive." he countered trying to own up to his mistake but she stopped him by placing her lips on his.
"Wait." she said breaking the kiss while he held on a pouty face. She ate the candy floss and pulled him closer as he smiled into the kiss.
"Umm you always taste awesome." he replied breaking the kiss but she was busy eating the candy floss.
