Tamasha: Distributors expecting Rs. 100cr (Min.), Producers 125cr

CI distributors are eager to buy Tamasha at Rs. 2 cr. That means they need to make 4cr to recover cost. So, according to Jaaju's CI X 25 theory the movie would make Rs. 100 cr. (4cr X 25) in India.

But the producers are asking 2.5cr from CI distributors. That means producers are expecting the movie would make Rs. 125cr (5cr X 25).

A distributor friend of mine is very confident of #Tamasha he says that the music is very good & film should easily cross 100 cr.

What? still not sold a week before release?

Tamasha needs to make at least half of YJHD.

Never would have imagined this situation a year back.

The film actually has decent buzz..I thought its gonna get sandwitched between all the biggies but i guess the promotions and PRDP under-performing has actually helped to an extent..Now it all boils down to the WOM..I just hope Ranbir gets decent reviews and it doesn't flop..Baaki i don expect a great film anyway given how its Imtiaz Ali 😆
