elevision's popular Krishna aka Sourabh Raaj Jain has surely won a lot of accolades for his work as an actor with his varied roles on different shows, but he gained immense love and applause for his role of Lord Krishna on TV show Mahabharat (Star Plus).

It's a proud moment for Sourabh and all his fans, as he has now joined the panel of well wishers for the upcoming 'Chandrodaya Temple' which is a project by Iskcon. The panelist of this project includes well known names from different fields.

When we contacted Sourabh to know more about it, he said, "I keep visiting Mathura for my travel show. So I had once, met the Vice President of Iskcon there and was told about this project.. this is how it happened to me. Since, I have played Krishna on TV and got recognized by my work in Mahabharat, I couldn't say no to it, as I believe- whatever I have achieved or gained in life, is because of the role that I have played in Mahabharat. Moreover, I found that the project, that they are putting in a lot of efforts in, is very good in terms of their thought, our culture and everything. So, I thought to be a part of it and became its well wisher."

Wow! Indeed a proud moment for him...

When we asked Sourabh to share his feelings on the same, he happily shared, "I feel great and and I have always said that I feel blessed and privileged to have got this role and am still being appreciated by people for my work. As an actor, I have tried various other roles as well and I am happy, that I got to try so many different characters while shooting for shows like 'Parichay Nayee Zindagi Kay Sapno Ka', 'Uttaran', and it was an experience of its kind hosting for 'Savdhaan India - India Fights Back' and trying comedy on 'Hazir Jawab Birbal'. I am happy that even though I got appreciated and recognized through my role in Mahabharat , I got good opportunities with various other shows as well."
